Last week was a good week. DH finally got his truck fixed and we are back to a two vehicle household
Also I finally bought a tablet after waiting almost a month thinking I'd hold out to black Friday. Well found a deal at best buy thought wow that's a great deal and the black Friday price might only be $5 or $10 less so I reserved online and went and purchased it last Wednesday. It was $90
So I pick it up and brought it home. It was horrible. I thought because previous tablet was 8 inch (was 5 years old) a 7 in would be comparable. Nope was so small. But I turned it one. DH came in room and said no your not keeping it we are taking it back. So back to store we go. I end up with a 10 in and it was $199.
So yesterday I check out black Friday flyer and my tablet it on for $130. Best buy won't guarantee sale price for BF deals so I am a little sad it was so much more.
So last night get thinking I would check current price and it's $140 so in car I get. Now tablet is showing not in stock but figure might as well try to get sale price. They gave me back $79. The BF price. So extra happy.

I was at a dog show this weekend and had a blast with friends. And me and my 3 year old Samoyed earned two of the needed three qualifying scores for our next rally (obedience) title! Picture of him with my dd since I never get pictures of him and me showing  |

DH and I were out yesterday afternoon running errands. The toilet stops working while we're out. DS15 takes everything off the stand and removes it from the back of the toilet and fixes the toilet. When we got home, he was like I fixed it and I didn't even have to google it. lol I'm really proud of him.
We get everything inside from the grocery story, and DH asks if he can do anything to help me (it's about dinner time, and he obviously wants me to cook, yet I just heard him talking to ds about watching more stranger things which means he expects a no and is planning to go sit on his tushy whilst I work.) So instead of saying my usual, no it's ok. I say, that would be great. Could you do the dishes? After an audible "dang" where his hands clenched up by his chest and his but wiggles and he bobs up and down (he's so silly), he does the dishes. Then all on his own, he decides it is a good idea to help out and continues by deep cleaning the bathroom instead of just putting the things away that ds hasn't done because he wanted his dad to check his work. He's halfway through cleaning. DD kicked him out and ds talked him into a stranger things during the wait and that was the end. This morning he said, I'll finish the bathroom when I come in from hunting. Happy dance for me!

1 - ds19 and I have started communicating really nicely. We’ve had some deep conversations, both learning to listen instead of just get our point across. And we’ve had some fun goofing with each other too.
2 - I told you guys I started working for my friend. It’s a great experience. And today was really good, first thing this morning she texted me, “you are the right amazing person for my team!”
Then, this afternoon - She had briefly mentioned something she wanted to advertise. But she forgot all about it and had changed her mind. I had created a graphic and come up with an idea or two. (I don’t really know what I’m doing, I’m learning as we use Canva.com.) Once she saw it, she absolutely loved it. She kept raving about it and was totally on board. It makes me feel good to know I’m adding value.

Husband seems to be feeling better after surgery. But He is having problems with the muscle relaxers that the surgeon wants him to take. So he isn't taking those
He needs to get a prescription for hydrocordone, since (OH THANK THE POWERS THAT BE) the Percocet is way too much! He is down to half a tablet a day and that is making to woozy.
I expect that he will back to aleve quite soon and this nightmare is going to be over.

Isn't it funny how we spend years waiting for them to grow up and leave, then are so happy when they come back? LOL Ds just got home tonight, and this will be dd's last year at home before going to school next fall. |

In July I had breast surgery to remove a lump from my left breast. Pathology showed that it was non-recurring and I was scheduled for radiation therapy. I finished my round of radiation a few weeks back and have now started the five year medication. I am blessed that God watch out for me, that all is now good and grateful for the support of my family and friends.
