I am not a crier at all, but I can handle that last episode of Parenthood! The perfect ending to the perfect show.

Oh yeah and when Lady Sybil died on Downton Abbey. It was so realistic. Omg, that was so awful. My husband and I were both pleading with the tv to let her live. I just wasn't expecting that she'd die. SaveSave

Oh the one that gets me is ER when Anthony Edwards character dies. He goes to Hawaii to try and make peace with his teenage daughter and then his wife and baby come later. Such a heartbreaking episode. Every.single.time

Anytime a dog or cat dies, it just strikes too close to home. I cried a couple weeks ago reading a column in the paper about a dog that ran away and was later found dead. The columnist had mentioned his missing dog several times over the summer and I was so hoping for a happy ending.
On Downton when Isis the dog was dying and Robert brought her to sleep in bed with him, I cried gallons. Actually just thinking about it has made me well up right now.

The only one I can think of right now is when Jimmy Fallon talked about his mother passing away. I don't tend to cry when a TV character dies, because I don't associate it with reality. Even if the actor did die in real life, that wasn't them in the show. I think this is why I do cry, I think of the actor and the loss of their talent and the loss to their friends and family. For me Cory from Glee and Lee from Rizzoli and Isles it was extremely sad as they were both young and how they died 🙁 Robin Williams and Jim Henson it was the loss of so much talent that we will no longer see.

Oh gosh, I'm a weeper. Parenthood always got me. Never failed! And now This Is Us is my weekly sobfest. I wanted a show to watch, and recently found out This is Us is filmed in Pgh. (I live in Pgh., but am not from here). But whenever saw stuff about the show, it always looks so depressing! But it seems that a lot like the show.

It's funny that you mention Jim Henson. He went to my alma mater, University of Maryland, but a long time before I did. They have a statue on campus of him sitting on a bench with Kermit the Frog! We always take the kids pictures sitting there with him when we visit campus. My middle daughter was scared of it when she was little. We went to pick up my oldest daughter at Maryland (she is a junior Terp!) on Tuesday, and we took our German Shepherd, and got her picture on the bench too! I wish I could add the picture here!

Such as the series finale of "Six Feet Under" where they show how ALL of the characters die while Claire drives off to New York in her Prius?
Yes.

I cried buckets when Carter and Lucy got stabbed in ER and also the episode where Luka almost got shot in a war zone. I cried regularly during 'thirtysomething'. I was having miscarriages at the time and watching it was torture but I carried on! Then there was the episode where Detek Shepherd got killed in Grays.
I cry at almost every 'call the midwife ' episode and even cried during the violent stabbing scene in 'gone girl '
I guess I'm just a crier !

Parenthood made me cry a lot. Six Feet Under. And just recently I got tears in my eyes during the last episode of "Bates Motel."
