On the thread about the Instant Pot, Peas mention that they don't need another appliance on their kitchen counters. Just wondering how many appliances do you have on your counter?
I actually only have the Instant Pot on my counter. We don't have a toaster/toaster oven. The old one broke and we just never replaced it. We also don't have a coffee maker. No blender/juicer. The rice cooker sits in a cupboard, hardly used. I have a handheld electric mixer and I only bring it out when I need it.

toaster oven (that we rarely use), microwave, toaster, coffee maker, keurig (yes we have both), KA mixer - these all sit on the counter full time. Hidden away are the 2 crockpots, instant pot, & waffle maker

The only appliances on my counter are my Coffee maker, my electric kettle and my Kitchen Aid. Everything else is in a cupboard. I can't handle too much on the counters. I don't have a lot of appliances anyhow.

On the countertop I have a hot water pot, rice maker, coffee grinder, toaster oven, coffee maker and a stereo. That did not include my slide in stove. There are tons more appliances hidden away as they don't get used ever in a million years.

ON the counter tops is an electric jar opener (I don't have the hand strength to open jars any more), an electric can opener, a 4 cup coffee pot, toaster oven, kitchenaid mixer, food processor. Everything is an item I use multiple times a week, almost daily, so it seems worth it to have them easily accessible. The outlier is the mixer but it is too heavy to move easily so it stays out.
I've got other appliances in cabinets that I bring out as I need them (crockpots, rice cooker, hand mixer and a one cup food processor for really small jobs)

I have a microwave on a special shelf, then just the toaster and coffee bean grinder on counter. (I have very little wall counters.. I have a big island). then, inside cupboards, I have food processor and a rice cooker. that's it. a kettle sits on the stove and an old fashioned pressure cooker is on a shelf.

Two. My Mini Keurig and my KitchenAid Artisan Stand Mixer. There is also a crock with cooking utensils in it.
Eta: my waffle iron, electric skillet, and crockpot are all kept down in the cabinet. I haven't used the crockpot in a year. May donate it.

I have quite a few, but then again, I don't yet have a cooker, so small appliances are essential! Electric kettle Toaster Single induction hot plate Instant Pot Air Fryer Toasted sandwich maker George Foreman grill Food processor Waring blender Handheld blender Handheld mixer Rice cooker Halowave - halogen tabletop oven Sodastrem Bread maker
When I renovate my kitchen, I am going to add an electric ice cream maker to that list. I have always wanted one, so why not?!

On the worktop, we have DH's coffee machine and grinder, and the kettle. That's it. The radio lives on the windowsill.
I have one double cupboard for the other electrical appliances. The only ones I use regularly are the slow cooker, rice cooker and hand blender. Occasionally I use the toaster and egg boiler (my hob doesn't simmer) and the George Foreman. I have a juicer, a deep fat fryer and a bread maker that haven't seen the light of day for years.

On the counter, only the coffee maker. Also have a fruit bowl on the counter.
I had a knife block but got rid of it a couple months ago, and don't miss it. Knives are in a drawer.
I also had my mixer on the counter, but out it in a cabinet to sell our house. I really like it not on the counter, so I will keep it in a cabinet or pantry after we move.

voltagain are you happy with your jar opener? can you please link? I keep telling ds19 he is never allowed to leave me bc I need him to open jars. I have a microwave, kitchen aid, Keurig, IP, electric can opener, air fryer, bread machine and foreman grill with plates for making waffles. I used to have a food saver but that stopped working a long time ago. I don’t miss it. I didn’t use it consistently. Oh i also have a ninja food prep. I have a love/hate relationship with it. I can’t always get the motor to sit properly on the lid. Two days ago I couldn’t get it to work at all. I was ready to throw it out and look for a replacement. Ds laughed at me and immediately got it seated. Grrrrr

I don't have many small appliances. Or I don't think I do.
Toaster Food Processor Kitchen Aid Mixer Keurig Crock Pot Blender Griddle Hand Mixer
I think that's it. Only the food processor and toaster are on the counter and the food processor is a mini one. My big one died several years ago and I couldn't afford to replace it at that time. I can now but really the small one works fine for me. Everything else is on the shelves in the basement or a cabinet. Well my KA mixer and Keurig are on a butcher block table that sits along a wall of our kitchen.
We just moved into a larger house. Our old house was tiny and didn't have a basement so even with just those it was super tight in our kitchen. I'm loving having room for everything!
ETA I never had or really wanted a toaster oven. Then about ten years ago my mom and sister thought I needed one and got me one for Christmas. I only used it a few times and then once when we did a small fire caught in it and it went out quickly but started to melt the plastic on top. I gladly got rid of it after that as it just took up too much space in my then small kitchen.

I didn’t think I had that many, but I do once I started counting. I do use them all pretty regularly. I cook and bake a lot.
Ninja crockpot 2 instant pots 2 other crockpots (different sizes) KA stand mixer Hand mixer Rice cooker Cuisanart griddler Vitamix Toaster oven Keurig Zojurushi water heater Small food processor
ETA. The stand mixer, vitamix, keurig, water heater, and toaster oven are the only ones on the counters.

Just wondering how many appliances do you have on your counter? The only small appliance I have that stays on the counter is my toaster oven. Other small appliances I have (but I do not keep on the counter) Instant Pot Hand mixer Food Processor Ice Cream Maker George Foreman Grill Coffee Maker (I only pull it out when I have company since I don't drink coffee)

On the counter? Popcorn air popper (someone makes popcorn every day); toaster; Keurig (which needs to go - no one uses it any more); Cuisinart (too damn heavy to move in and out of the cabinets); blender; Instantpot; Kitchenaid. That's it.

Only the coffee pot and the Kitchenaid stand mixer stay out on the counter.
The crock pot, blender, waffle maker and Cuisinart food processor (that sucker is huge and heavy) are put away.
That's it. No other appliances.

My microwave and coffee machine are on a corner counter built for them. Near the stove I have a toaster and kettle. Apart from that, we have a slow cooker, hand mixer and hand blender that live in cupboards and come out as needed. No space for them to live on the counters.

KitchenAid mixer toaster can opener blender Breville Smart Oven which I got last year and LOVE! Foodsaver - not out all the time but probably pulled out and used at least once a week Cuisinart Food processor I moved to a cabinet to make room for the Breville and haven't used since
No one drinks coffee so I finally gave my coffee maker away.
Oops, almost forgot the crock pot which I'm using the morning. It stays in the pantry along with the griddle and are pulled out when I use them.

On top of the counter: 14-cup coffee pot (teenage coffee drinkers mean we go through it pretty fast), coffee grinder, stand mixer, Vitamix, toaster. In the cabinets: electric griddle, food processor, stick blender, hand mixer, crock pot, instant pot, waffle iron. I think that's it. Too much stuff!

My coffee maker and bean grinder are on the counter, which I use daily. My stand mixer and food processor stay out because they are so large and heavy. Put away in the cupboards is a toaster, mini food chopper, immersion blender, waffle iron, popcorn popper, and pizzelle maker. Oh man, I forgot I also have two crock pots, a yogurt maker and an ice cream machine.
That sounds like a lot of stuff, but I do use them all.

on the counter - the microwave, toaster, and coffee maker (and that last needs to be put away somewhere less accessible since it's rarely used) - oh and a can opener
I have a shelf under my upper cabinet wheremy Oster kitchen centre and accessories live along with my hand-mixer and mini-chopper - oh and an immersion blender I probably need to donate because I neither love nor use it
In the pantry? two crockpots (big and medium), a popcorn maker, and a waffle maker and a roaster that I use twice a year but love

On the counters there's a Keurig, a drip coffee maker, a microwave, and a mini oven (toast, bake, convection, rotisserie). All the other stuff stays stored in cabinets when we're not using it.

My toaster and KitchenAid mixer are always on the counter. I'd say my crockpot & instant pot are out frequently but not always. The Keurig is kept out on the butlers pantry.
