Yes. I’ve done it many times. I have a few things in the fridge prepared for tomorrow.

Yes. I just finished mine. I do make the topping, but keep it separate until I'm ready to bake it. Then I just sprinkle it on top. I worry that the pecans will get soggy in the fridge overnight.

Yes, I just add the topping when you're ready to cook it!.Sometimes stuff like that is always better the next day!

Yep. I'm putting together the sweet potatoes and stuffing tonight. Will keep fine in the fridge overnight.

I’m doing that too. I placed a Walmart grocery order yesterday and went to the grocery store today. Do you think I remembered to get a can of sweet potatoes? At all? No I did not. IP to the rescue! Good thing I had a full box of fresh ones.

I usually make it the night before.
This year my dad decided we aren't making sweet potato casserole and I am bummed! I love it.

I have found that if it's refrigerated it does take longer to bake. Instead of baking for 30 minutes you might want to bake it for 45 minutes.

My mother used to make one for Thanksgiving every year and she made it at least a day in advance. Definitely do so!

Good thing I had a full box of fresh ones. It's too late for now, but I roast my sweet potatoes. No peeling, cubing, nothing. I scrub them, poke them with a knife, and put them in the oven on a baking sheet covered in foil or the potatoes wrapped in foil (an important step, or you will have a burnt on mess in your oven from them weeping.) Bake for an hour or so, let them cool a bit, and the potatoes just slip from their skins into the mixer. Done!
