I've been using Plum Paper Planners for a few years but am wondering what else is out there. I like my planner so may just go with that, but am open to new ideas. My one must-have is to be able to see the whole week, but with hourly markings for each day. Any suggestions?

Erin Condren hourly might work for you! I love her planners - I'm using a digital version of a planner that looks just like an EC Vertical layout ... but on my iPad!

Planners are what I'm making for gifts this year. But I'm not sure I can be much help since I'm focusing more on the cycles of the sun/moon and 4 seasons rather than dates and time I'm still figuring out whether I'm going to buy planners and alter them or buy something like sketch books so I have more opportunities for altering.

I have an LV planner (MM in monogram) and I am buying inserts from Sew Much Crafting on Etsy. There is a Canadian store I like better as she is, well, Canadian and I know and love her work, but she is going to only do printable ones and i am not cutting and hole punching my planner.

Bullet Journal. I started a thread this morning that has some links. It's the most flexible for me. My days are seldom the same and each day has different things I need to be doing or keeping track of. Once you get a basic rhythm of your own shorthand to keep a bullet journal its fantastic. I've found most calendars are bulky and don't translate to my phone's calendar, but the bullet journal is great for size and carry-ability.

It's not a planner, it's an appointment book. I've been using this same one for years. It has a full seven day week, plus an extra column that has a mini calendar and a blank spot for notes. I write everything in there....work stuff, birthday reminders, social plans, etc... There's not room for doodling, stickers, or anything like that though. It's approx 7inx9in and about 3/4 - 1 inch thick, so it fits in my purse.

My perfect planner doesn’t exist so I’ve hacked one from a Rhodia Reverse Book. I love its 8 x 8 square format, spiral binding that folds flat and grid-lined pages. I just wish there was a commercially made one without perforated pages that start to rip out if I don’t reinforce them with washi tape.

This is my 3rd year with Inkwell Press. They do sell couple of their styles at Office Max/Office Depot. A lot of people have found coupons for 30% off at Office Max and have gotten a great price on the styles they sell. I use the A5 inserts so I order from Inkwells website.

I am trying a Hobonichi for the first time. For years I have wanted one and this year I finally got one. i love the Hobonichi. I’ve been using it for 4 years. BUT, for 2018 I am going to give the Jibun Techo a try. It has the same type of paper, but it is weekly rather than daily. I still bought a Hobo for 2018 (before I discovered the Jibun) so I will use it as a daily journal/diary.

I am trying a Hobonichi for the first time. For years I have wanted one and this year I finally got one. I tried one of those 2 years ago and the weight of the paper kinda drove me nuts. I’m just stuck on heavier paper. The Hobonichi advertised that the paper didn’t bleed but it did. 😔 I was so disappointed. Let us know if they’ve improved that.

I'm pretty obsessed with my Happy Planner. Me, too. (sorry salem, I lost what you wrote so I retyped it) Me three. I absolutely love that the week starts on Monday. My week always starts on Monday. I look for the non-cutesy ones. I don't care for the rings, but I like I can add things to it if wanted. The size is perfect, but I don't carry it around anyway.

If you use something that is alcohol based, like Copic, it will bleed through. But most other pens don't. I've used fountain pens, markers, even watercolor paint and acrylic paint in mine without bleed through. There may be ghosting, because the paper is thin, but no actual bleed through.

I love the disc bound system. I can take out or put in anything I want to really customize my planner for what I need. I love the budget pack. I love the folders you can get. I use it for everything. Monthly family planner, lesson plans, to do lists, chores, meal planning, wardrobe planning, budget, Christmas gift tracking, notes, long term plans. It is definitely far and away my favorite planner that I have ever used.

I like the ARC discbound system from Staples. Lots of different options for inserts. I (and my college freshman DD) use the Junior size which is the size of half a piece of lined paper, so about 6" x 8". I bought the punch, so I can print my own pages to put in.

I gave up on finding the perfect planner. I could never find the layout I liked on the perfect paper. As a result, I purchased a personal size Filofax and make my own inserts. I can make exactly what I want and print it on nice paper.

So, the digital planner I use is called the "iPlanner" and I'm not gonna lie ... it's the same price as a paper planner. That being said, the thing is insane .... Check it out!! www.youtube.com/watch?v=d8D3Stggs4sModChick ihaveonly1l I use it in the app called GoodNotes and I have an apple pencil ... you can use digital stickers and everything!

I've used the same one for the past four years. Once I found it I said there's no going back. lol. It's called "Gallery Leather" and it's from Barnes and Noble. Although Amazon does carry them also. They have several styles, I've linked to the one I use (although my link shows last year's, my current one is 2017/2018). It has all the months together at the beginning, one month per page. Then it starts with the weeks following the month section. Each week is on the left side and the right-side facing page is blank (lined). I LOVE that feature because I write everything there. Everything. So, if it's April and my neighbor asks if we know a gutter cleaning service we'd recommend and I remember that back a few months I'd gotten recommendations from people I can go back and find it easily. I might not remember exactly when I made that list but I know it's somewhere in my planner. -- The only thing about it that's different from some other planners is that it starts on Monday in both the monthly pages and the weekly ones. My previous planner started on Sunday so there was a small learning curve while I got used to that change. Now I love it because for me it makes better sense to have the two weekend days together.
