oaksong....that lobster and shells recipe looks SOOO yummy!!!! ...too bad I didn't make it in time...LOL! AKathy.....I wish I'd known what you were making; I would've booked a flight to your house! I have NO. IDEA. what we're having; however, I'm craving buffalo wings, so I might sautee chicken breasts in Tabasco sauce, then throw it on top of nice big salad with blue cheeze dressing----

Chicken scampi. It was ok but I won't use the recipe again. I should have compared a few recipes first. The one I used had an enormous amount of butter.

DH is making rib eyes and fresh corn on the grill tonight. I'm making twice naked potatoes and salad to go along with it. I've been looking forward to this meal all weekend. Those potatoes sound VERY interesting!

Both kids are out, so dh and I will probably just fend for ourselves. I will probably make myself a sandwich.

We had a low country boil - shrimp, sausage, red potatoes and corn on the cob. Very tasty.

We're having lime chicken tacos and Trader Joes brussel sprout salad, I just put an apple crisp in the oven for dessert. This is the first time I've made an "official" dessert for years and years, but the kids were intrigued by apple crisp after watching The Food Network. I found a Gillian Michaels recipe - hoping it's good. I guess I should have also bought ice-cream to go with it, oh well, we'll have it topped with greek yogurt instead

We're having leftovers from the wedding shower my sister hosted yesterday. Chicken and pasta salad, green salad from my neighbor's garden, and (anxiousmom) cake! pretty white cake!
BTW, my sister said the shower was nice, they loved the food and games, but no one brought presents! This was for the same-sex marriage I mentioned the other day. All Berkeley and San Francisco types, male and female, gay and straight, and not one of them brought a gift to a shower. LOL
