I used to work the overnight shift at ABC News; we would sometimes go out for a drink in the morning. Beyond that, I used to have the occasional drink at brunch.
Nowadays, with kids, I rarely drink because if I do I get get drowsy.

In college we had a few "kegs and eggs" parties where drinking began at 7. Usually for St. Patrick's Day, but there were a couple other occasions as well. For me, that meant back at home early afternoon for bed! Now, I will occasionally have a bloody mary with brunch on the weekends, usually around 11 am or noon.
Today a bunch of families are going to Syracuse for the state high school football championship and will be tailgating beginning around 10-11. I assume even though it's a high school game there will be drinking involved. Thank goodness the family ds is going with doesn't drink!

I'll start the coffee with Bailey's first thing when all 25 of us are at my parent's house!
We have started pretty early on cruises, too.
