“Trump's nuclear button tweet was 'entirely consistent' with U.S. policy, CIA director claims bit.ly/2CQcXZy”
You mean two 4 year olds on the playground yelling at each that their’s is bigger?

Yes, that is it! As explained there is no 'button' on his desk! There are numerous steps that need to be taken, last one being at the Pentagon.

trump..
“I’ve had to put up with the Fake News from the first day I announced that I would be running for President. Now I have to put up with a Fake Book, written by a totally discredited author. Ronald Reagan had the same problem and handled it well. So will I!”
Joy Reid in response...
“Ronald Reagan was afflicted with Alzheimer’s while in office, which only was revealed after his second term ended. The American people deserved to know he was impaired while president. They deserve to know if you are. So perhaps an apt comparison.”
See the can of worms you just opened stable genius.

Chuck Todd...
"I don't think an informant for the FBI should take a product and be shopping it to journalists around the world" -- @lindseygrahamsc tells me re: Steele dossier on #MTP”
Prompted this response from David Corn....
“Steele, to be clear, was not officially an FBI informant. Never on the payroll. Passed his reports to the FBI because he was highly concerned about the information his sources reported about Trump-Russia ties.”
I agree with Corn. There is no premises for Grassley and Graham to push for charges against Steele.
If anyone had recourse for Steele giving the dossier to whoever, it would either be Fusion or the lawyer for the Clinton Campaign.
Or trump by suing Fusion/Christopher Steele. Oh wait if trump did that then he would be subject to discovery. Better to have members of the Senate be your “hit men” with very questionable tactics then open yourself to discovery.

And then there is this....
Molly McKew....
“Tillerson, in intv with @eliselabottcnn , says "Russian meddling" is a "domestic issue," other nations don't care. Oh yeah except Russia is doing same stuff to our allies which we aren't exactly talking about. /1”
It was my understand Russia tried to mettle with France’s election. Did France become the 51st State over Pureto Rico?

Here is another consequence of the tax cuts that we can’t afford. Chris Lu... Trump's work on opioids so far: -Drug czar nominee withdrew. No new nominee - Proposed $400 million cut to agency that oversees substance abuse programs-Tried to cut Medicaid which provides addiction services -DOJ promotes jail instead of treatment for drug offenders But hey let some mythical character that doesn’t anything about opioids pick up the slack. By the way a lot of the proposed cuts are grants that are given to organizations that have the professional knowledge on how to handle whatever program that it is. While I CERTAINLY wouldn't attribute any change to Trump, I do know firsthand that changes were made with regard to obtaining opioids. I regularly see a pain mgmt doctor and had sudden breakthrough pain that my normal meds were not affecting. My doctor said that unless it was already on record (my using that Rx), I'd have to come in and get another Rx. It's a new step. Can you imagine going to a doctor while you're in the midst of extreme pain??

Do any Peas remember when Reagan was in office?? During his 2nd term, it became obvious that he wasn't "all there". Does anyone remember his wife, Nancy, giving Reagan the words he was supposed to spout, when she was behind a tree and he was outside?? I CLEARLY remember that and I was very concerned with his mental state (or lack thereof).

They say karma is a bitch. I think there a certain amount of truth in this thinking which is why I’m wondering what terrible things this country did to deserve this....
trump...
“The Fake News Awards, those going to the most corrupt & biased of the Mainstream Media, will be presented to the losers on Wednesday, January 17th, rather than this coming Monday. The interest in, and importance of, these awards is far greater than anyone could have anticipated!”
Doesn’t he know the majority of people expressing interest are only doing it to ridicule him.

I love that Colbert, Samantha Bee and The Daily Show are all openly vying for an award. TDS posted a thing on Instagram today downplaying the fake newsness of Colbert and Bee- showing a clip of Colbert introducing Tom Hanks as a movie star with a big stamp saying “Fact” on it. Cracks me up. Man, I really wish John Oliver or SNL could have called an emergency episode this weekend, this has been one of the most ridiculous weeks of his presidency, and that is saying something.

tiny hands is watching CNN.... “Jake Tapper of Fake News CNN just got destroyed in his interview with Stephen Miller of the Trump Administration. Watch the hatred and unfairness of this CNN flunky!” But that is not what happened. From Eric Fernandez.... “Jake Tapper to hobgoblin Stephen Miller: "I think I've wasted enough of my viewers' time." There was a video with the tweet and Miller was spouting crap and Tapper just shut him down in mid sentence. That was a crazy interview.

Stephen Miller had to be escorted off CNN's set after his interview with Jake Tapper went off the rails Linette Lopez Jan 07, 2018 White House adviser Stephen Miller was escorted off the set of CNN’s "State of the Union" on Sunday after a contentious interview with host Jake Tapper. Two sources close to the situation told Business Insider that after the taping was done, Miller was asked to leave several times. He ignored those requests and ultimately security was called and he was escorted out, the sources said. CNN declined to comment. www.businessinsider.com/stephen-miller-escorted-off-cnn-2018-1

ABC News....
“Sen. Lindsey Graham says he called Donald Trump a "xenophobic, race-baiting religious bigot" during 2016 campaign, but "he won. Guess what: he's our president...and he's doing a really good job on multiple fronts." abcn.ws/2FeZibV
"No, I don't think he's a xenophobic, race-baiting religious bigot as president," @lindseygrahamsc adds.“
So all of a sudden he is no longer a “xenophobic, race-baiting religious bigot” just because he became president???
This is the perfect example why “winning” isn’t always a good thing and how it can be destructive. And how low the GOP in Congress is sinking.

Either they'll say fake news or Trump is so great and efficient that he can get 12 hours of work done in 6-7. However it's spun im sure Obama and or Hillary name will be brought up.

Scoop: Trump's secret, shrinking scheduleJonathan Swan 20 hours ago Jan 07, 2018 The schedules shown to me are different than the sanitized ones released to the media and public. The schedule says Trump has "Executive Time" in the Oval Office every day from 8am to 11am, but the reality is he spends that time in his residence, watching TV, making phone calls and tweeting. Trump comes down for his first meeting of the day, which is often an intelligence briefing, at 11am. That's far later than George W. Bush, who typically arrived in the Oval by 6:45am. Obama worked out first thing in the morning and usually got into the Oval between 9 and 10am, according to a former senior aide. Take these random examples from this week's real schedule: On Tuesday, Trump has his first meeting of the day with Chief of Staff John Kelly at 11am. He then has "Executive Time" for an hour followed by an hour lunch in the private dining room. Then it's another 1 hour 15 minutes of "Executive Time" followed by a 45 minute meeting with National Security Adviser H.R. McMaster. Then another 15 minutes of "Executive Time" before Trump takes his last meeting of the day — a 3:45pm meeting with the head of Presidential Personnel Johnny DeStefano — before ending his official day at 4:15pm. Other days are fairly similar, unless the president is traveling, in which case the days run longer. On Wednesday this week, for example, the president meets at 11am for his intelligence briefing, then has "Executive Time" until a 2pm meeting with the Norwegian Prime Minister. His last official duty: a video recording with Hope Hicks at 4pm. On Thursday, the president has an especially light schedule: "Policy Time" at 11am, then "Executive Time" at 12pm, then lunch for an hour, then more "Executive Time" from 1:30pm. www.axios.com/scoop-trumps-secret-shrinking-schedule-1515364904-ab76374a-6252-4570-a804-942b3f851840.htmlThere it is.........

you know, if this was just some Joe Blow on the street who had been spouting off random strange stuff, and making comments that could incite violence, or could be construed as he, himself, possibly doing harm or causing violence at some point- isn't evaluating their mental capacity what's supposed to happen?? Isn't this a case of 'having all the signs' like we've seen so many times before?? The random disgruntled co-workers, mentally deranged serial shooters, people who perpetrate mass shootings or crimes on college campuses, or out on the street. The investigations afterwards, in some cases, DO show that there were points where they might have been stopped. Why should he be exempted because he's currently the President? Just because he might not DIRECTLY cause any deaths because he won't be holding a gun, or pressing the button on a bomb himself doesn't mean he wouldn't be responsible, or that he's mentally stable enough to have access to nuclear codes or have the authority to authorize military force that may cause hundreds / thousands of Americans to die. ETA: how does the 'executive time' in his daily calendar fit in with what's airing on the Fox network at those times of day?? Because, as we all know, he takes his cues for how to act / what to say as PRESIDENT of the US from THEIR television broadcasts. Which is SCARY AS HELL.

I sure hope it was answers to 2 seperate questions. I hope his running inspires the public that despises him to actually vote. As for the lack of psychiatric exam, I'm disgusted. "Executive time." It's well known now that Reagan was being handled as to downplay his declining mental state. How would his schedule compare to Trump's, I wonder.

Gorka says he was told to cooperate with Wolff bookBY JONATHAN EASLEY - 01/08/18 04:29 PM ESTFormer White House adviser Sebastian Gorka says that he was instructed to cooperate with author Michael Wolff for the book “Fire and Fury” while he was working at the White House last year. Writing in an op-ed for The Hill on Monday, Gorka said that he was at one point instructed to play ball with Wolff but that he declined because he thought the author was primed to damage the president. “So, when I met Michael Wolff in [former chief of staff] Reince Priebus’ office, where he was waiting to talk [former chief strategist] Steve Bannon and after I had been told to also speak to him for his book, my attitude was polite but firm: ‘Thanks but no thanks’,” Gorka writes. “Our brief encounter reinforced my gut feeling that this oleaginous scribe had no interest in being fair and unbiased. In a text to The Hill, Gorka did not say who had asked him to speak with Wolff but that it was not Trump or Bannon. The only other person mentioned in Gorka’s op-ed is Priebus, who did not respond to a request for comment. thehill.com/blogs/blog-briefing-room/news/367981-gorka-says-he-was-told-to-cooperate-with-wolff-bookGetting better as we go along!
