...when you ink up your stamp and a clum of the felt sticks to it. Granted it’s been a while since I used that pad but I thought they just dried out, not disintegrated. I had to crawl out of the freezer and buy a replacement since I’m in the middle of making Christmas cards. It was annoying but kind of amusing in a WTH way.

Tuesday Morning had a ton of nice ink pads in Christmas colors for sale today for $2 each. The silver glittery one caught my eye, but I kept walking.

I don't think replacing a worn out stamp pad qualifies as unfreezing. It's a basic supply.
Now, if you confess to buying 2 dozen stamp pads...

I didn't think the pad would disintegrate, but I do have some distress ink pads that are coming unglued. I don't think that counts as getting out of the freezer either.

You got your money's worth with that pad. Replace it guilt free!

I have some dye based ink pads with the felt pads that are probably over 20 years old that still work! And some have never been reinked! The only ones that fell apart on me were the ones with the foam pads and pigment ink.
