Nuvo Embellishment Mousse

Last week I was looking for videos about different ways to use this stuff when I stumbled upon a video of this person going through her stash of things that she hadn't used for a while. She was filming it to demonstrate how well these products hold up if the sit in a drawer for a couple of weeks, or longer. Nuvo Embellishment Mousse failed the test miserably. Two of the jars that had been opened were rock hard and another was on its way. She tried to spritz them with water and leave them sit for a while, but it didn't do any good. So she contacted Tonic and was told that the lids had been replaced. The old lids have cardboard inserts that are absorbing all of the moisture causing the product to dry out. The new ones have styrofoam inserts. Tonic has great customer service so they sent her replacements for the two that were unusable and although they said they would send her replacement lids, for some reason they didn't. So after watching the video I checked mine and low and behold one of the first ones I had opened is on its way to getting too hard to use, and all of them have the cardboard lids. I contacted Tonic and they are sending me a replacement product as well as styrofoam inserts for the lids. If you've got opened Nuvo Embellishment Mousse, you better check it to make sure it's not ready for the garbage!
