When I started my period just before I turned 12, I was tiny. About 4'5" and 70 lbs. I was so afraid I was going to stay that tiny. The Dr. Told my mom he was sure I would grow within two years. At the two year mark, I started growing. I had a tremendous 2 month growth spurt, that had me hit 5'3" and eventually settle at 100lbs.
So, I'm going to answer yes, she may still grow.

Alison's growth has been pretty steady. She has had her period for 3 years and is still growing, but there was never a drastic growth spurt.

I’m 5.8, and at 12 (when I got my period) I was 4.11. My friends are I were all the same for a while, but at 17-18 I grew even more and am the tallest. My oldest grew 2 inches at 15. basicaly, while your post is odd, it is very possible.

I got my period at 12. I kept growing, and even grew another inch after I turned 18.

I would have been screwed if not - I got my period when I was 9. I grew my last inch when I was 24. Between the two, I grew 8 inches.

I didn't gain height after I started my period at 12y5m but I was already 5'8"
DD17 started her period at 11y3m and was only about 4'9" - she ended up 5'3"
I know my MIL gained another inch after her marriage (she married as a young 17 and I'm reasonably sure she had had her period for a while by then)

Yes, I continued to grow until I turned 18. So, 6 years continuing to grow after menarche.

My aunt was a tiny child and adolescent, and didn't really start growing until after she turned 18. She ended up at 5'8".

I grew an inch at about 20. I wasn't 5' and then I was.

With the exception of one friend, who was a destined to be tiny, I don't know any girls who didn't continue growing after starting periods. I think I grew at least another 4 inches and have one family member who has easily grown a foot and will probably continue a little more.
As for growth spurts, I knew a woman who was on the shorter end of the scale into her early twenties when she had a growth spurt and grew to nearly 6'. It was particularity noticeable because she was already married to man who was about her previous height so they were asked about it a lot and his nickname of "Shorty" became somewhat humorous.

My dd never did the big growth spurt in 4th/5th grade that the other girls did and was one of the shortest in her class. She continued to grow and is about 5'4". Her grandmother was under 5' tall so for a long time we thought she was taking after her, but grew taller.

It has for my 17 year old. She started her cycles a week before her 16th birthday. She has grown about two inches in height and her body has filled out. Two months ago her boobs finally came in. She is now a nice B cup versus being a flat A. She stopped asking for a boob job for Christmas.

Yes, I think I've read that the "norm" is that they keep growing for at least a year, though not usually as quickly, and often for quite a bit after that (as demonstrated by previous posters). I would guess your DD won't end up with Amazonian proportions, but then again, stranger things have happened. I don't think I grew too much after I started (I'd guess 2" tops), but my DD definitely continues to grow (and grow, and grow!). I think the range of "normal" is pretty wide here.

Yes. My DDs both started at age 11, and both grew a lot after that. Like several inches. They're quite tall at 5'8" and 5'11" (and I'm not convinced the younger one is quite done growing).

Absolutely! I was probably 5'0" when my periods started; I had just turned 13.
At 16 I was 5'2".
At 18ish I was 5'3".
And I didn't hit my full adult height of 5'4" and a bit until I was in my mid to late twenties. I kid you not.
So yes, you can definitely continue to grow after menarche.
My DD2 was a tiny little girl, not just height but weight too. Even after her menarche she was under 100 lbs and about 5'0". She had kind of a second pubertal growth spurt when she was 18 or 19, and although she only grew an inch, she filled out, gained weight and got hips. However she retains the tiny hands of a child, which is quite odd. But I wonder if you might see a similar thing happen with your daughter?
