I just had an amazing customer service experience with Avery Elle and thought I would share. I ordered the Viking stamp set a while ago (can't remember from what store, but it wasn't directly from Avery Elle) and only got it out to use a couple months ago. I stamped it a few times, and every single image got ink blotches all over it. I figured I was doing something wrong, and put it away. Then I decided to stamp it again a couple weeks ago, had the same problem, and that's when it clicked that there might be something wrong with the stamp. Sure enough, when I looked at it closely, I realized that the lines of the stamp weren't raised very much, with the result that ink got all over the image and created blotches. So I sent Avery Elle an email about the issue and got a very prompt reply, saying they would send me a new one. I sent them my address, and within a week I have my new stamp! And they even included a freebie, even though I didn't pay them a cent for this second stamp! I'm quite pleased Haven't stamped this new stamp yet, but I took it out of the packaging and the lines look good so fingers crossed!

Awesome midorica! TFS. It's great to hear when companies stand behind their products and don't want customers to bear the brunt of inevitable manufacturing snafus.

Thank you so much for sharing. I am always so grateful to hear about great companies. Especially this year when it seems like it is all about the nutcases in the industry.
I heard that Avery Elle are just sweethearts in the past. Thank you for confirming this.

Was it the “I’ve Taken a Viking to You” stamp with the Viking guy and a bunch of little hearts? If so, I had the exact same thing happen with that same stamp! Part of the main stamp was not etched very deeply so it didn’t stamp right, but when I emailed them about it they promptly replaced it with one that worked.
