I did. I rolled the dice on the good luck with the Gossamer Blue and My Minds Eye really good boxes .... and crapped out on the Simon Says box. For me - it is pretty much total crap -- a "bird on wire" stencil (I loathe birds - I have NOTHING that has a bird on it - I'm even a bit fearful of having the bird plastic in the house!!), several sets of wafer dies (one like those old paperdolls, two leaf sets that are nearly indistinguishable), a small set of clear stamps, a sheet of transparency -- a SINGLE sheet about 4x6, some really ugly and fluffy trim, some old 6x6 pad of BoBunny, one red washi, a funny color deco acrylic paint that I can get in WalMart for 88¢ ... some other unremarkable stuff .. all unfortunate! Sigh ........

That's too bad. How much did you pay for it all?

Ugh! I feel for you. But I think it's nice to share that info for future reference so others don't make the same mistake. I'm all warehouse boxed out.

That's too bad! It sounds like they just threw a bunch of old junk in there. How disappointing.

I got one last year and was similarly disappointed.

Ugh! I totally feel for you. Not being from the US, I rarely go for warehouse boxes because the shipping is too high unless I am positive I will like what I get. The only ones I have ever purchased were the October Afternoon Santa Sacks. I'm sad that SSS was a disappointment. There is a lot of great merchandise on that site, and it's unfortunate that they were just unloading crap.

That's too bad. How much did you pay for it all? Sorry - I don't recall specifically -- and it is probably a good thing since I'd be kicking myself about the "good" stuff I "could have had"!! The price was comparable to other warehouse boxes. I don't usually indulge, but with such good experiences with the other couple, and Simon has good stuff on the site (even tho' they are SLOW to ship!!), I decided to "take a chance". That's why it's called gambling!

Ugh sorry to hear that. I live outside the US so never order warehouse boxes - shipping makes them just too expensive.

DANG! I know I'd thought about it for a bit ... and had gone back and forth a couple of times ... What a load of complete CRAP for $70.00! Now I'm rather POed at Simon Says! And -- please -- thank you for your kindness - but don't worry -- it is a lesson and a disappointment to me, but not earth shaking in any other respect! I was just wondering if any one else had thoughts ... and I also thought to "warn" in case anyone was "on the fence" about the box!

That is really a lousy box for half the price.
Thank you for the warning!

I bought one for a friend a few years ago for Christmas it was $40 and I thought it was crap because the stuff in it was super old and awful, but my friend loved it.

That’s a lot of money for a lot of nothing. I’ve never bought anything from them due to issues with slow shipping but this kind of thing makes me happy I spent my money elsewhere. Thanks for sharing but still sorry that happened to you.

Yikes, so sorry to hear that! I did last year and it was just okay. I feel like the stuff they sell has a wide array of styles and not all fit mine so besides the crafters with a cause box I don’t really think I’ll do anymore warehouse ones from SSS.
