I need a really good, opaque white marker- preferably oil based. I have bought so many different kinds, and find them all disappointing. I need it for a Christmas ornament, so I don’t want it to fade or wipe off. I’d like a medium or bold tip.
heres what I have: 2 Sharpie paint markers- fine and medium. The medium was dry before I even used it, the fine is too watery.
Crafttsmart paint pen- it’s actually quite nice, but not opaque enough.
Sailor white Writer- talk about watery, it’s the worst!
I also have Sharpie medium metallic pens in silver and gold, and they are both awesome! Should I just assume that if I had a white one that wasn’t dried up, that it would be a as great?
The ornament I’m making is supposed to look like a gingerbread cookie with icing- so I want the lines pretty thick if possible. Maybe there’s something I haven’t considered... I don’t want to use paint for the lines, I’m much better with a pen.
Help!

I use this one by Uni Posca. I use it to write on photos and other dark papers and it's amazing. It comes in different thicknesses, but I just have the extra fine

The other day I was at HL, and I saw some paint pens in the fine art section, not the crafts side, but can't remember what brand they were. At the time, I wasn't searching for paint pens so I didn't pay much attention. I think I might have to make a return trip!

I have the uni posca one as well and it's awesome! Truly opaque and it doesn't skip when you write so you can write at a normal speed. I liked it so much I bought 3 extra!

Just here to also say: Uni Posca all the way!
If you get the fine tip and write on a textured surface (like paper), be careful — sometimes the friction will cause the nib to bounce back and you’ll have a teeny bit of splatter

I have the Painters Opaque Paint Markers by Elmers Products from Walmart. I just bought it recently and it works well. I have only the ultra thin white. I wanted to be able to do the white dot in the eyes of my die cut characters and so far, is working well for me. I have a ton of other white pens that work but none with as fine a tip as this one.
