I know they are on the no-no list here, but Paper Tales in San Diego will be closing their store at the end of April. I don't think there are anymore dedicated scrapbook stores left in San Diego County now. Even with all the issues, I'm still sad that they're closing and that San Diego will be without a scrapbook store. It's so hard for the stores to stay alive in the bigger metro areas. The overhead is just too high for a store that sells paper by the sheet.

In the Portland Oregon area there is Whimzees Scrapbook Studio. It is located in Beaverton a suburb of Portland.

I have one to add to the list: Hearts & Crafts in Covina, California.
They have lots of paper and stamps, get new things in from CHA, active scrap group, Silhouette support, and do a good job of staying current.

They barely had a two notice to their customers. It is being turned into a restaurant. When I was little that site was a wonderful kid’s book store, I am sad to see Peddlar Pack closing and even sadder I couldn’t make it there one last time.

Also, there is Paper Parachute in Beaverton, Oregon, conveniently located in the same building as Whimzee's (already mentioned). They concentrate mostly on stamping and art journal techniques.

msliz, since you are including stamp stores now, I will submit this store: Stamp Fever388 S. Tustin St Orange, Ca It is easily accessible off the 22 Garden Grove or 55 Newport freeways. It may google up as A & V Rubber Stamps because I think that is what the store may have mainly been before, but it is filled only with crafty stamping. Lawn Fawn is a main staple, but they carry several other brand name stamps, inks, some paper, and other card making accessories, and embellishemnts. The store is small, but definitely worth going to if you are a stamper. I always find good stuff and spend a chunk there. They are mostly up to date with their inventory.

msliz , since you are including stamp stores now, I will submit this store: Actually, I only want to include stamping stores and textile arts stores on the list if those stores also carry a full selection of traditional scrapbook supplies, but I'm still really happy to see them suggested here in the replies. We all love to shop for all kinds of crafts! I see that Stamp Fever sells 12x12 papers, but I can't see whether they sell albums. I'm going to go ahead and include them anyway. Thanks for the recommendation!

msliz, Pages of Tyme in Mission Viejo closed its B&M store. I remembered reading that in another thread and checked out their website. Unfortunately they’ve switched to online only.

I don't think there are anymore dedicated scrapbook stores left in San Diego County now. Have you been to The Stamp Addict near SDSU? I think they are as much a scrapbook store as a stamp store these days. For any papercrafter visiting San Diego and wanting to see, touch and feel product before buying, they are definitely worth a stop. I don't know if they carry albums, msliz, but they do carry plenty of 12x12 papers. Their FB photos will give you an idea of what they carry (the wall of wooden stamps photo is from 2012 and NOT what it looks like now ). The owners are really lovely and will special order anything for you.

Our only Kitsap County, WA LSS is in Silverdale - www.scrapbookzonewa.com/ I don't know if I would say it's worth driving out of your way for - we are out here on a peninsula, pretty much off the beaten path (even if someone was taking a WA state ferry trip, Silverdale is pretty far from all of the ferries. But at this point there are so few LSS left open I will submit it here just in case anyone is in the area (KIngston, Bremerton, Bainbridge ferries, or driving from the south sound area up to the Olympic Peninsula, you could detour this way). From what I've seen there it's a pretty classic LSS (although I never went to one in their prime). They looked at me blankly when I asked about Shimelle and other American Crafts brands (which made me wonder) but they seemed to have some really nice open stock papers, lots of cardstock, dies, tools, nice stuff like Graphic 45 collections, lots of altered art/Tim Holtz stuff, tons of stuff for themey scrappers. I believe they still have a crop space, so the store might be better than I judged them to be based on my personal experience and needs. Customer service was a bit lacking both times I went in lately - not rude, just a little disinterested - even with no one else in the store.

msliz , there is a huge store in little Columbia Falls, MT called All About Memories. It is very near Glacier National Park and I just visited there last week. They have tons new current stuff and lots of old classics too, which I found very fun.

There are quite a few more in Washington.
Ben Franklin in Redmond and Monroe (I find the Redmond store has a better scrapbook selection) Impress Cards & Crafts in Seattle and Tukwilla (go to the Tukwilla store, much larger) Lila's Scrapbooking in Everett Stampadoodle & The Paper Café in Bellingham
I'm sure there are others...but those are the ones I tend to go to.
ETA the Seattle Impress Store closed. But, Tukwilla is still going strong. :-)

I just was looking to see what was in Colorado: Affordable Scrapbooking in Aurora (recommended by @tic59 ) Looks like they closed March 2nd. Have you checked out NOCO in Windsor? It is about 15 seconds off of the interstate. The store isn't huge and is mostly used for crops, but they always have the latest stuff. I am trying to figure out if Scrap 4 Less is going to continue to be open. The lady moved to Georgia and I think sold it, but I haven't heard anything from the person who purchased it.

My apologies, cmpeter. I only now got around to adding the stores you suggested. Thank you so so much! I left off Ben Franklin as they have 125 stores and I don't want to have to add all the locations, but thanks for mentioning them. Very sad to hear about Affordable Scrapbooking. Thanks for your input everyone!

I just removed Wooten's in CA off the list as sadly they've now closed their doors and now seem to be trying to convert to an online store. Also, The Stamp Addict in CA has converted to online only. A plea: If you know of any changes I should make to the lists, please comment. I just added a new store to the list today, and it's been around for years but was just overlooked by us. Is there a store in your area you'd like to add to the list? Please click on the list for your area and let me know so we can give them more foot traffic. Just want to add a review of an existing store? Post it! Thanks Peas!

I am currently in Lihue, Kauai, HI - in the Ace Hardware store there is a craft section, and although there is only a small range of papers, a lot of items are tropical themed. Well worth stopping here if you are passing. Btw the local Walmart in Lihue has a collection of Hawaii themed stamps and washi tapes.

I swore I thought this store was on the list. However did I know about it? LOL Artsy Stamps and Paper Crafts www.artsystamps.com/index.htmlIt's a cute store in the Outlets in Loveland. It has a lot of Graphic 45 type paper... plus other kinds. Very nice lady in there that was working. I don't think she was the owner. It was really a cute store.

Island Scrapbooking in Hilo, HI closed their bricks & mortar store in May. Now online only. In Hilo, HI, the Ben Franklin Crafts store has a very good selection of papers, tools etc. I got carried away in there!
