Utah -
Pebbles in my Pocket 1132 State Street (across from University Mall, next to Arby’s) Orem, Utah
Brenda Birrell sold the Pebbles paper line to American Crafts quite some time ago, but kept her store going. In January 2019 she sold her store to the owners of Echo Park.
The store has been completely remodeled with lots of great light and lots of product - full lines of Echo Park and Carta Bella, of course, but also Doodlebug, Bazzill cardstock, and American Crafts. Along with scrapbook lines, Pebbles in my Pocket also has a great selection of paper crafts, gifts, and party goods. It’s really an awesome store.

I'll add the store later this weekend when I get on my laptop. I don't know how to do it from my phone.

COLORADO:
Just a little update.. I checked out Who Gives a Scrap in Ft. Collins over the weekend. It's like a used craft store.. much more than scrapping stuff. I believe it is all for profit. You walk in and it is overwhelming.. stuff everywhere.. anything remotely crafty. Super cheap.. most everything is used. I didn't find much this time but I am sure day to day it changes. They did have a table that was full of paper stuff.. fill a bag for a $1. The best thing I found was about 20 of those templates.. Design with a View? I think is the name. Popular about 15 years ago, I would guess. I figure I couldn't go wrong with $1 for all of them. Plus a few odds and ends. I did find some staples for my Fastenator (is that spelled right?) the big pink stapler. Found a few new packages for .50 cents. I still use mine on occasion.
I wouldn't drive from north Denver to Ft. Collins again just to go to that store, but if I was in the area I would stop. I also stopped on the way home, Artsy.. and as last time I was there, beautiful paper.. so picked a few things there. So not a total bust but a good morning just messing around.

There is one in Colorado Springs right of the interstate exit. It is craptastic. I rarely buy anything there since much of it is from the early 2000's, but it is fun to look around and see some of the old stuff. Once in a while I'll see something more recent.

I was just at their new location in CoSprings a week or two ago. It seems like their prices are higher now than they were at the old location. I did pick up some thread for .50 a spool, though.

I rarely see anything from name brand designers. Mostly off brands from 2002.

Just saw a post from Hearts & Crafts in Covina that they will be closing nerd month. She says she will be going online but her physical store will be closing. So sad to see another store go.

That makes me sad too. I have a feeling there will be more to come that I'll need to remove from the list. It's so hard to keep a business afloat in times like these.

Yes, I got the email also. I’ve shopped with them since before their old store in downtown Covina had a fire. I will admit not getting over there very often anymore. I hope they do well with their online offerings. msliz, there is a new store to add to the list — Frank Garcia Studio in Upland. He designs for Prima and a has pretty little shop with lots of newer lines, not just Prima. The classes look fun, and they have crops too. Although the work tables are closed for now, I have ordered online and picked up during the shutdown. Yay for a new LSS!

msliz , there is a new store to add to the list — Frank Garcia Studio in Upland... Yay for a new LSS! Awesome! I'll add them to the list later tonight ETA, I just looked at their papers. They offer almost a dozen of those pretty floral Mintay collections from Poland. While they're not my thing, I've seen a bunch of mixed media artists do some really amazing things with them

Washington - 3 Craft Chicks in Airway Heights/Spokane
This store is awesome. Run by a family with the last name Craft (Mom and 2 daughters) Small, but packed. They have lots of new stuff and do great Retreats at a nearby hotel. I live 2 hours away, but have to stop every time we drive to Spokane because you just can't explain the thrill of being in a real Scrapbook Store!

Thanks scrappersue, I added them both to the list. Note, the links for both are to their Facebook pages. One store only has a FB page, and the other store seems to be ignoring their regular website in favor of their FB page. (Makes sense if that's where their traffic is.) They both look like really fun places to shop!

Sadly another closing (she was closing before COVID started)
Artsy Stamps and Paper Crafts in Loveland
Still open and everything is 30% off. She has moved the remainder of her store next door sharing a space for a bit until everything is gone.
If anyone is close by I would check out her paper.. it's all so pretty.. I am going to try to get up there tomorrow.

Impress Cards and Crafts (formerly Impress Rubber Stamp) has closed both locations. They are now online only. I’m very sad about it. I used to shop the Tukwila store whenever we were in town. It was such an inspiring place to visit.

Thank you scrapbookwriter and workingclassdog. I took them both off the list. I've been meaning to put out a call to ask the Peas to review the lists for their geographic areas so we can update them. Sadly, I'm sure there are a lot more store names that need to come off the lists.

To add to the Colorado list:
Scrap2It in Fort Collins is a nice store. The owner was really friendly.

It looks like Whimzee's Scrapbook Studio in Beaverton, Oregon, has changed its website. Here's the current link: Whimzees ScrapbookYoung at Heart in Astoria, Oregon - the link is to their blog which is no longer active. Here's a link to their Facebook page, which is frequently updated.
