Just updating this for New Years...some people will shoot their guns and firecrackers as well...most pets do not care for the noise but also some will do harm so please protect your furry babies out there...watch to be certain when you open and close doors that your pet is not around you and darts out...please stay safe out there and don't drink and drive...we want our Peas safe here...hugs
Please be careful with decorations and pets getting a hold of them as well as some of the flowers and plants. The food is another to be careful with and candies...some candy and plants can be deadly...
Having guests over be aware of the doors opening ...make sure pets do not dart out. maybe even put them in another room for their safety.
Anyone with suggestions please chime in to help...thank you

When my corgi was pup, he shredded all of the ornaments 18 inches and below. Bad dog. He also opened several gifts for us when we went out to dinner one night. Now he is perfect. He would ever dash out of the house though. He would be afraid he'd get stuck outside.

I had to put more pet friendly ornaments also at the lower part of the tree...lol...when i did the icicles I had to stop using them for the same reason...

Riker only went after the ornaments on the tree the first year we had him. He's ignored it all ever since.

When we had Duke dog he would snatch the small trees from our Christmas village! LOL! I guess he thought they were little sticks! We even had it up on a table . The village used to be around the tree on the table. Now it's up on our china cabinet. I don't think PIa would steal the village but we put up there anyway! lol! I know the poinsettas are really bad for them too. The poinsetta wreath goes on the outside of our front door.
