I wanted to post about a promotion that I am familiar with that I thought others here might be interested in. Lisa is doing graphite drawings of your pet for a $25 donation to an animal rescue. Lisa is someone I have met before and is a good friend of one of my good friends. I had her do 4 drawings for me. I received them a few days ago and love them! Here is the info about how to get a drawing of your pet done. She will do either a full drawing for $25 or the outline for a $15 donation to the rescue. You can see both below. I only had the full graphite drawings done. I have only seen dogs and cats so if you have a different pet you are interested in, email her and ask. Here is the information needed:  I will try to post one of my drawings. She is doing this 100% for the rescue. |

I love the ones that I had done. My scanner is acting up right now or I would post pictures. I will see if I can get them from Lisa's FB page because she posted them.

Let me see if this will work. The photo I sent is on the top and the graphite drawing is on the bottom. It looks like she must have changed the photo to grey scale.  |

Those are fantastic...I think it should read MINIMUM donation...because I think she's priced them too low. Hopefully people pay extra because they're so good and even more money is raised

Here is one other photo I want to post along with a comment that Lisa made on her FB page: Lisa's post: Someone asked me if my drawings are hand drawn or digital. Here is the one I'm working on currently. As you can see, its hand drawn and not digital at all. I like to print out the pic to scale to make it easier, but I don't always do that. I've got all kinds of graphite pencils, erasers, and smudge tools to get the image as accurate as possible. Doesn't $25 a seem like a steal?!  |

I have no idea how long it takes her to do one, but I think this is really a steal. For the first time in a number of years, I actually have a Christmas present for my DS that I am so excited to give him. He is difficult to buy for. He has a pup that he is crazy about and I had one done of his dog. I will have it framed for Christmas. |

BTT this for others who might be interested. The more donations the rescue group can get the better. Lisa is having fun with the drawings and raising much needed money for the rescue group in the process. 100% of the funds go to the rescue. In fact, all Lisa gets is a copy of the donation from people who put DRAWING in the purpose so she will know who to expect to receive pictures from in her email.

I made an extra donation today because I liked the pictures so much. This is not expected but obviously, the rescue group appreciates it. |

I'm glad to see that this was btt'd. I didn't want to feel like a pest by me btt'ing it. This is for a great cause and it is a great price. The rescue just saved 3 puppies with parvovirus. They all lived but it cost a lot. The more Lisa can raise the better and in return, the donators receive an awesome graphite picture. If you want to see more examples of her work, email her. I love seeing the photo along with the final picture.

Just saw that this has been brought back up to the top. LocoCoco, love your picture!! I hope others that had one done will post theirs too.
Lisa posted recently that it was Last Call for those wanting to have pictures done. When she said Last Call, I believe she had completed 90. She was hoping to get over 100 which she definitely might have done by now. Lisa's email address is in the first post. Email her and ask if she is still doing these if you would like to have one done. She is mostly doing dogs and cats but I have seen other animals too. She posted a horse a few days ago that was wonderful. IF you have a pet other than a dog or cat, you can email her and ask if she can do it.
