I should have mentioned above, I bought theOne Little Word kit and class last week. I'm still thinking about Stories of the Month.
I haven't bought a lot of her products before, this one appealed to me at this time.
Sooooo while I'm over famous scrappers and their ilk, I am still happy there are new products out there - including Ali.
I hate the lasting mentality that I blame on CK. They made this hobby about personalities.

And since I'm going against the grain with my opinions here, I'll say I'm OK with the occasional "sleeping in" photo. I'm in favor of keeping it real in my scrapbooks. And the pictures aren't that racy. I don't think anyone said they were racy. Just that it makes us uncomfortable. I really don't want see you or anyone else in bed on insta. Sorry.

Meh it doesn't bother me...I've seen more uncomfortable photos of people on the beach or posing in bathroom on their instagram feeds. I like the family side of Ali as well as the business side so its nice that I can follow both.

The pics in bed were the beginning of the end for me. lol. When it was discussed several months ago someone commented that it made them feel like a pervy interloper. Totally cracked me up; she was 100% right I don't remember reading that before, but YES! That is what I feel like when I see those photos. News flash: sometimes people don't care about you that much. SaveSaveI did not follow, but a while back I stopped even checking in sporadically. I get enough of a taste from the rest of you, thanks for keeping me informed! About the quoted post - Pervy feeling, for sure. AE should be worried, IMO, about the fangirls who do care enough about her to want to see in bed/a little pervy photos and some of the other, supremely mundane photos. I don't think it is good to be so interested in a "celeb" that you want to look at either of these two kinds of photos. Beyond the teenage years when we were all absolutely and completely in love with (X/insert dreamboat of your choice here) of course.

I've taken "sleeping" pictures some mornings phone reached out as far as my arm can go and hitting the button with my eyes closed. But it's mainly to show how annoying my cat can be about being a bed hog and my hatred of mornings. I don't feel the need to plaster them on Social Media, but it can be a story to tell. The socks yesterday just felt like real life to me, but I can def see it as staged. I used to do mismatched socks all the time so it was cool to me. I only take bed pictures of my dog. He doesn't care about bed hair. Plus he's usually acting like a scarf. I don't really want to see two adult people in bed as a general rule.

I routinely put my son on the bus wearing my pajama bottoms. I had a particularly rough day this week where he was up for almost 24 hours. There was one day I realized I wasn't wearing my bra . I didn't feel that terrible, I'm barely a B cup. I have zero issues being seen wearing pajamas on my own property.

I have to confess that I do sometimes put the rubbish aka trash out wearing my pjs and robe. But it's usually pretty early in the morning around 6am. I have never been to the supermarket in my pjs but I have seen it!

I live in Europe (Spain) and agree that people here do not tend to go out in their pajamas or workout gear. Recently it has been trendy to wear "sweats" but the designer types that are all the rage. I find that in general, people dress to go to the grocery store or other regular life activities....even walking the dog or taking out the trash. I am not saying this is bad or good. Just different than what I experienced when living in the US.

They made this hobby about personalities. Don't get me wrong, I'll still purchase from her. I just can't do Instagram. I get the socks photo, but staging photos started really annoying me (the supermarket, bed photos). The content of the sleeping photos never bothered me, it was the idea that two people are allegedly sleeping (eyes closed and all) but someone can take a picture. I'm not a huge fan of social media as it is, and the staging pushed me over the edge.
