What a bitch! I don't believe this was accidental after looking at the picture and reading the text. Don't believe it for a moment. No one with any class would own that brooch in the first place, let alone wear it, let alone wear it to lunch with someone who is biracial.
Unbelievable!

Intentional or not, it’s in extremely poor taste.

OMG, wow. Ugh, why? Why give this heinous woman attention? Poor Meghan, this should be all about her, and her happiness and joy of marrying Harry. Now this crap is going to overshadow the entire thing. I'm mad this happened, but more sad that it was noticed and picked up by the gleeful press for everyone to see. Yay! Let's sell more papers!

Well she looks like a first rate bitch.
And not for nothing, I kept reading the headline as "There's something off about the jewelry this Royal whore wore"

Well, shucks! And here I was so thrilled she's bi racial. How foolish of me to believe she would be treated with dignity.

It isn't the typical choice for a Christmas brunch, is it? Yeah, that would seem to be a slight toward Ms. Markel. How rude and immature is this woman?
Meghan and Harry look to be truly in love, something not often seen in the royals before Dianna's two son's chose their wives. Why can't people leave them alone? I'm very happy for them, and really hope the queen can exert pressure on this family member. She should be ashamed.

Hm. C-word.
Who the hell does she think she is? Although, it took me a minute to see the brooch. I was stuck on her puckered Cat-Butt-Face. Those lips = a cat's ass.

I'm the first to admit that I never knew jewelry like this existed and don't know the history, and the only photo I've seen is the one in the article. Is it possible that Princess Michael thought the brooch would SUPPORT Meghan? As in that she was wearing African inspired art? You sure can't miss it on that white coat.

Why would one even own that much less wear it? Meghan is a class act, I’m sure she killed the old bag with kindness.

I knew before I saw the picture who it would be. I've read the story about Princess Michael and the restaurant previously.
Apparently she's the relative in the royal family that they all try to avoid at gatherings etc.

Based on her hatred previously, I will go as far as to say she very deliberately wore it today & was hoping someone would notice. SaveSave

I was also pretty sure it would be that particular Royal.
Pfft, I say. When an insult is lobbed at me I try to focus on who is doing the lobbing. If it is a known biotch, then I try to see it as a compliment. Or at least an irrelevancy.

Who is princess Michael? How does she fit in? King George V was the father of Queen Elizabeth II and also the father of a 4th son Prince George who died in the 1942; his son is Prince Michael of Kent who is married to the woman now known as Princess Michael of Kent. So that would make her the niece in law of the Queen (I think) Eta: I was wrong. He is a cousin to the Queen: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prince_Michael_of_Kent Apparently when Prince Michael married in 1978 the Queen allowed him to rent an apartment in Kensington.

Prince Michael is the Queen's first cousin.

It's Blackamoors jewellery apparently. I have no idea if they're classed as racist but Dolce and Gabbana caused a stir when they used earrings on their cat walk a few years ago. The statement then was Dolce and Gabbana clarified that the earrings used in its spring/summer 2013 show are a reference to Sicily's traditional Moorish-inspired artefacts. LINKPrincess Michael is a very low key royal and not that well liked, she just happens to be married to the Queen's cousin that is virtually all her roll is. Whatever her reasons for wearing that brooch I'm sure she could have found a more suitable one than that. I doubt Meghan Markle will come into much contact with her very often anyhow.

She tends to be referred to as Princess Pushy in some of our press. I don’t take much notice of her but I don’t recall reading anything that puts her in a flattering light.
Jewellery like this may have its’ place in an historical setting, a museum or the like, but it is totally inappropriate to be worn IMO.
I imagine I have more chance of being invited to Prince Harry and Meghan’s wedding than Princess Michael.

Princess Michael has always been known as a bit of a b**ch. She was quite nasty to Princess Diana, too.
