I've seen this technique, inlay diecut technique, on quite a few YouTube videos lately & tried it today. I thought it turned out well & definitely will try this on future cards.

LOve that card and the colors you used! Thanks, Marianne. I just got Perfect Plum late last week and just had to use it on a card. Think it pairs really well with the 2 new In-Colors ( Hello Honey & Lost Lagoon) for this year.

Thank you scraphappyinjax for the info... looks cool and I think I will try it. I am unfamiliar with the dies that you used but they looked real cute. How can I get a copy of the Stampin Up catalog Holiday edition? I would like to see some of the products and how they are used. Thanks again for the info.

Not as pretty as scraphappinjax's card but it reminded me that I did that technique with my cameo. I cut the "you" out of the white and filled it with a yellow "you".

It's for the Cameo or Silhouette Portrait. Here is the link to it: PixScanI don't have a lot of matching die/stamp sets so I will have to do it this way. I just love the look of the technique! Wow! Cool technology. Well, if for any reason you aren't happy with your results, you can get the bundle I used here for 15% off.
