I like trying new recipes...problem is I hate hanging on to the printed recipes. They end up everywhere and then I need to reprint the recipe the next time I want to use it.
Is there an app or something where the recipe itself could be 'saved' so I don't have to poke around the internet for the recipe each time or try to hang on to the paper recipe?
I figure if I can download it to my tablet, I can use it while preparing the recipe in the future.

When you see a recipe online just click the icon and it copies the recipe into your personal recipe book. You can create your own tags to find recipes later. Easy to delete them later if you don't like them, or use the star system to notate you've made and how well you liked them. There is a meal planning function and an easy to use shopping list maker.

I just copy and paste the recipe into a google doc. It's a simple approach that has worked the best for me.

I also love the Paprika app. Sometimes I'll just take a screen shot of the recipe. I have a recipes folder in Photos where I file the screen shots

I use the Paprika app as well. You can save the recipe right to the app.

We put all our family recipes on Pinterest in a private folder, and then shared them with family.

Paprika or Copy Me That work very well. I have both on my iPad. It's very easy to save the recipes into either app, and you don't run the risk of a Pinterest link that gets broken.

I just use Pinterest boards. One for veggies, one for meats, etc.

I use Evernote for E.V.E.R.Y.T.H.I.N.G in my life. Recipes, Christmas wish lists, files if any kind I want to save, travel plans, etc. I keep my recipes in a separate notebook, and then tag then based on one or more criteria like side dishes, appetizers, low calorie, etc. When I want a recipe that meets one or more criteria, I just search those tags (or the name or ingredient)

I love Paprika but they have updated the app and you have to pay for it AGAIN and I just bought it in March. It is so incredibly annoying, I am not sure that I will continue with it.

I do use it for recipes but also for my scrap stash inventory and all other types of things I want to organize. I can access via web, or in the evernote app on my phone tablet or desktop.

You don’t have to update if you don’t want to, though, the original app still works. I saw the new version was out, but I don’t need any of those features, the original I bought years ago still works fine.

I also use paprika. I have a board on Pinterest and once I try a recipe and deem it a keeper, I move it to Paprika.

I use OneNote on my iPad and I'm pretty pleased with it, but I like the sound of Copy Me That. Off to have a look.
I also use IOS Notes, which is really good since it was upgraded a year or so ago. I like it for recipes as you can easily add links, lists, photos etc. I'm playing about between it and OneNote for recipes to see which app I like best.

I use Paprika as well. I love how simple it is to pull recipes from the internet and have them automatically converted into the same format.
I have been using it for years and just used it 5 minutes ago to download a fresh black-eyed pea recipe. I didn’t even know that there was a new version. My years-old version works just fine.

I like paprika but it kind of ticks me off that I just bought three versions of it (ipad, android phone, desktop) and now they have a new version that has to be paid for again (possibly cheaper for an upgrade but still). I decided that the old version will work for me. I probably don't use half of the features anyway.
eta: just saw that this was already mentioned here. Glad I'm not alone in my outrage. lol

I used to print and keep a binder but stopped doing that. Now all my recipes are on pinterest on separate boards by course. This way I can search my own bookmarks if I have an ingredient I want to use. It's nice to have a photo bookmark system that you can find anywhere.

Add me to the list of Paprika users. I learned about it from the wonderful peas.
I didn’t know there’s an update, what are the new features? The original version works for me.
I also save pins and when I make it successfully it goes to Paprika.

I use Pepperplate. Similar to Paprika, I believe, but available across apple and android platforms and synchs across devices. Oh, and free.

I've used Paprika for a while. One of my favorite features is that your device will stay on while it's open. I hate having to turn my phone/tablet back on in the middle of cooking.

I use AnyList. I can categorize recipes and just check ingredients that I need and it goes on the grocery list within the app. I also can import most recipes from websites and avoid all the pop ups. My husband and I share an account and he can add items to the shopping list and i am updated. He usually adds items via Alexa. They work together too.

I use Paprika also. Love that it stays on when I am cooking so I don’t have to touch anything if my hands are nasty.
I love Pinterest for finding recipes, but I’ve found so many broken links that I would never want to rely on it to save anything.

I like paprika because I can scale it down to just my husband and I and it will redo all the measurements for me.

I did not know they had added new features for Paprika. Probably not enough for me to update though. The one feature I want is a date feature within a recipe. I've submitted a suggestion several times over the years, I would love a feature where you can add a date that you first made the recipe, and also the most recent time you did. Then you could sort by that. But I guess they don't find it valuable - oh well. I continue to put this information in the notes as I find it helpful.
