Did you see their performance?! I have no idea what words they were singing (apparently not lip synched), but damn, they can dance! This 51 year old was impressed and is searching for them on YouTube. (I just probably won't know how to link it here when I find it.)

my 12 yo son is OBSESSED with BTS.
he is now into learning to speak korean, cooking korean, brings k-pop star's pics to get his hair cut AND is learning on their dances so there is a constant thump, thump, thump in my house (him jumping around in his room with his headphones on in front of the mirror).

I just don't get them, but I'm old. I don't think my 20ish dd's do either. All they do is pose, and try to look sexy. just ewwww.

My daughters (17 and 15) are in love with them. I can't understand a word of what they sing, but they are talented.

I can't understand a word of what they sing, but they are talented. Are they? how can you tell? I guess their voices and their dancing probably paints a pretty clear picture. They're not my thing, but I can see the appeal to teen/preteen girls. They're all very pretty

I've never heard of BTS or k-pop. For many of our generation, unless our kids are into it, the only exposure we’ve had to k-pop is “Gangnam Style.” K-pop is huge around here, because we have a very large Korean population. In our ES, all our flyers came home in English on one side and Korean on the other - the school was transformed into a Korean Immersion school a couple of years ago. I thought that BTS were fun to watch. Definitely entertaining.

I love them! DD is a fan and I'll admit to being a fan at age 50! They are very talented performers and their videos are entertaining.
Their fan base is huge worldwide.

Some of dds friends, although not Korean have far eastern backgrounds, so they "make" her listen to all the music. ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/grin.png) and through her I've become aware of K-Pop. Even seen tee shirts on Etsy.

I agree that they can really dance. I did not care for their music though.
