I am going to my first crop in years tomorrow. Can't wait! I just noticed on the invite that I am to bring a dish for potluck. Nor sure what to bring. Any ideas?

How about a summer pasta salad? Fried Chicken-you can never go wrong with chicken (this is our go to pot luck item for crops when people ask what to bring). Veggie tray, fruit tray, dessert Have fun!

I like to bring a big pan of the copycat Lofthouse sugar cookies. You make them up as bars so it's fast and easy, and easy to transport. I almost always come home with an empty pan!

All the suggestions sunshinescrapper1 made are great ideas. Those pretzel rivets from Philadelphia Pretzel (if you have one near you) are always good. If you can contact the person running it, I sometimes will ask what she needs. Soda, water & ice can be a good (and easy) option. Brownies or something else chocolate for dessert, maybe? Have the best time!

Thank goodness for Pinterest! Here is a link to the recipe I've used. They turn out really good, and the recipe makes a big pan which is great for gatherings. Enjoy! Lofthouse Sugar Cookies

Believe it or not, a huge bowl of grapes always gets eaten at the crops I go to. The other thing that gets scarfed down is spaghetti; either baked or just in a big bowl. People love it!

I wound up making a mediterranian dip and brownies. We had sloppy joes, mac and cheese, vegetable tray, bagels and cream cheese and homemade cinnamon rolls. Yum! And yes there was a large bowl of grapes that was almost wiped clean by the end of the crop. lol! Who knew?
My friend just became a CTMH consultant and plans on having these crops once a month. So glad to finally have a place to go to on a regular basis and people to share the love of this hobby with. Hopefully I will get much more done. I finally learned how to use a Cricut!
Thanks for all the replies and good wishes!
