You see this on Pinterest, and think Oh! A ribbon slide dress! FTR, I'm kind of digging it! Not on my body, but it's fun!

I posted a couple weeks ago asking for ideas on how to use my ribbon stash. Well now I know.

You see an item of clothing and know you have patterned paper that coordinates with it.

Just the other day I covered a 12x12 white CS with scraps of ribbon I was just going toss out. I used 2x tape and applied them in one direction with no concern with width, thickness, or length. Then I cut some to fill any gaps. I turned the piece over and cut the whole into 16 ATC's. I attached 3 silver deco buttons to each and added an image of a spool of thread and needle. I think it turned out pretty good and will take them to my swap next Sunday. The ATC swap will be at Ben Franklins in Redmond, WA Jan 7 at 2:00PM. Come on by and check it out if you are in the area. Buttons By Don1The dress is nice and a shapely hangar too.
