So, my dd just said to me "Mom, can you ask your message board ladies, in all their infinite wisdom, to help me find a sports bra?" lolololol... Guess I've talked about you all a time or two. But, seriously... she needs a sports bra that's supportive that won't stretch out. She needs thicker straps but the one she had with thick straps stretched out. The thinner strap ones didn't stretch but aren't supportive enough. For now she's wearing two bras, but that's not working because she's just started taking a Pure Barre class and two bras are really really hot for all the workout they do. She's not huge on top, but not petite either. Probably a D cup in a regular bra. Can anyone here help? I have no idea because I don't do strenuous enough exercises to ever need a really supportive bra. lol

I swear by Moving Comfort sports bras. I used to wear 2 or 3 layered other brand ones to keep things in place while running. I just wear one of their Juno ones and I am all set (DDD). I have trained for half IronMan races and raced in them. They are fantastic!!! They are not stretchy, they are very supportive. They make a number of different styles, Juno just happens to be my preferred one. I am short so I always had the problem with other ones that to get it to be big enough in the boobs the straps were too long. But moving comforts are adjustable with velcro and work great. I wear them 4-6 days a week and they easily last a year or more.

DD17 wears a 34DD/DDD and rides horses/runs - she likes the C9 sports bras from Target www.target.com/p/women's-power-shape%E2%84%A2-max-support-racerback-sports-bra---c9-champion%C2%AE-white-34dd/-/A-14968957

I like the Champion sports bras, but I have a friend who is a D cup and she likes the Zella brand from Nordstrom.

ENELL all the way. It is the only bra that gives me zero bounce even when running.
ETA that I wore a few different sizes of Enell. I started with a plus-size when I was a 42DD and ended up with a smaller size after weight loss that fit a 32F. I am one of those fortunate(?) women who does not lose weight in the boob area. The Enell is heavy duty, front close, and locked and loaded my boobs in a way I'd never experienced before in a sports bra. It was the first bra I ever felt comfortable actually running in.

My daughter just got the lululemon enlite bra in 32E and she says it’s amazing. She’s wearing it for riding and dance (hip hop).

My DD did Muay Thai, and at 13-14 was the only girl in an adult class... so a good bra was important (she has been well endowed right from the start). She loved the VICTORIA SECRET KNOCKOUT FRONT CLOSURE BRA (nothing moved!!) she now loves the ANGEL MAX SPORTS BRA..... it looks huge but she says it is very comfy... she doesn’t need as much support as she just doesnthe gym and ice hockey. We always stock up when VS does their bundle deal, bra, pants and an extra (tshirt/hat/bag) for the price of the bra!! She also LOVES the KNOCKOUT TIGHTS... she lives in them, thick enough you don’t see everything and they wash very well

I like the Panache Wired Sports Bra. Their non-wired version is surprisingly good too. These are the only sports bra that have ever been any good for me. (I'd love to try Enell, but I'm too busty for their regular sizes and the custom pricing ain't happening!)

Thanks everyone so far. Keep them coming if anyone has more recommendations. Dd wrote down everyone's suggestions and is researching now.

Check out the site titlenine.com. I've been getting their catalog for awhile and I love how much wonderful information they give about each of their bras. I haven't bought one yet but plan to, because I wear a 36DD in a normal, everyday bra. Truthfully I haven't been exercising, but when I do start this year this is the place I am ordering from.

My favorite is the Brooks Maia. (Spelling might be off). I have seen it labeled both Brooks and Moving Comfort - same bra, hanging on the same rack at Dick's. It is probably also in the title nine catalog.

This is the one I wear - love having something that is front closure. I joke that it's like chest binding and it definitely isn't a sports bra for lounging in, but I have found it's about the only thing that works for me (I use it for Zumba, treadmill, trail running, and anything cardio). Moving Comfort for me. I've found them at decent prices on Amazon if you go for the less popular colors.

I'm a 40dd or 40ddd. Champion sports bra. Love it. I even wear it in non sporting events super comfortable. No extra padding. (I don't need padding).

I've got an enell bra I've been trying to get rid of for a while. Brand new...still in package it was mailed in. And..now that I'm looking for it to tell you what size, I can't find it. But, I did find the white felt I was missing. If it's the right size for your daughter, it's yours for $25 plus shipping. I paid at least $50, but probably closer to $60.

Brooks/Moving Comfort all the way. (Brooks bought Moving Comfort a couple of years ago). I have several each of the Fiona and the Rebound Racer styles (they are pretty much the same, except the racer is a racer back style). Straps are padded and adjust from the front. I’m a runner and they are great for any type of “bouncing” sports. I’m a 38DD in regular bras but a 38D in these bras, so keep that in mind. I’d recommend going to a running store and getting sized, and buying one to try. If you like it, buy the sale colors online like I do, I’m not one to workout in just a bra so don’t care what color they are! 😂
Good luck!

I wear SheFit. I'm a C, but I was put onto them by someone who is a double D and they are fully adjustable and so comfortable. I can verify she does not BUDGE while doing a Zumba class. LOL. Downside is they are $$$. shefit.com/products/shefit-ultimate-sports-bra

I swear by Moving Comfort sports bras Same here. I'm a D cup and usually buy the Rebound Racer model - but I've tried several and they've all been good.
