I would like to have a portable electronic cutter. We have cuttlebugs and sidekicks etc for manual die cutting. We have many choices for portable photo printing or just printing in general. I would like to have an electronic cutter that I could carry in my backpack that could maybe do 6x6 paper so when I am on the go and have a few minutes I could work on things I have in my design space waiting for when I have time to be in my craft space.

Narrow corner rounders, kind of like really strong nail clippers. And still waiting on my robotic scraproom cleaner.

The Slice was that cutter. It didn't last long after the larger systems became popular.

I still have my slice....must dig it out and use it.
Trouble is, cards are hard to find for it now, so I am limited to what I have....

My Silhouette Portrait is pretty small, at least compared to my Cricut Expressions (the original one) that I used to haul to crops with all my cartridges.
But it would be cool to have a little compact machine, one that ran off of USB rather than an electrical outlet.

i would like to see a double die that cuts a circle in the center and a rectangle around the edge. Why? cuz i'm lazy, don't like running my paper through the diecut machine twice, and my circle is ALWAYS off center the first couple of tries. drives me nuts.

I'd love to see (which won't happen) Muppet stuff. Anything Muppet related. I'd love to see dies.

I had a whole post - and heck, I don't know where it went.....but.... place your rectangle die on your cardstock, place your circle die where you want it - tape the dies so they don't move, then run it through your bigshot/cuttlebug. Jennifer Macquire has done this (I think) but I have seen it done on youtube quite a few times....

Oh bummer! They have had so many of them in the past it was nuts. I haven’t gone there lately so I’m not sure if they still have some hanging around.

thanks--it always seems my circle is off center. i know, im being silly. lol. You could lightly pencil an X centered through the middle of the paper and measure/mark the circle die on the outside back edges with a Sharpie to evenly quarter it. If you have a centering ruler, it would make marking the dies and the paper super easy. Align the marks on the die with the pencil lines on the paper and the hole will end up exactly in the center of the paper. Stick it in place with washi tape. Since you’re cutting the hole out, the pencil marks won’t show. You could mark the center points of the sides on the square die too if you’re using one, so everything gets lined up perfect the first time through. Clear as mud?

Tim Holtz ruler has centering rule on one edge. The best thing I like about it is the fact it is exactly 12". No "little bit" on each end. If you have a Scor-Pal, the ruler fits precisely across, so you can use it to help with decorative score lines.

thanks--it always seems my circle is off center. i know, im being silly. lol. If you’re not trying to cut a specific design out of the paper, lay the dies on a cutting mat instead. That way you can see the measurements through the open spaces. Then tape them together and place on the paper you’re cutting.

6x8 white American Crafts Cardstock in bulk. (I liked OP Bazzill better until I realized they yellow over the years). And big scrapbooking compagnies (aka American Crafts) to offer all their collections in other languages. A girl can dream.
