I just watched Mercy Tiera's video and she used a stamp positioning tool she called a "Misty"... She said she was going to feature it in another video, but it's exactly what I've been looking for and a bit eager to find out more This is the link to the video youtu.be/h1iRFdTj16UTIA Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

There have been some threads on the stamping board about it that you might want to checkout. ETA: HERE is a link to one thread

MISTI - most incredible stamping tool invented.
I have one and can vouch for its incredibleness. I absolutely love it and it does everything the inventor says it does.
I'm too lazy to grab a link but you can check it out at mysweetpetunia.
She is hand making each one right now so it is hard to come by one. She apparently is on vacation this week also.
She is looking for a manufacturer, hopefully she finds one.

It looks wonderful, but I don't think I'd get enough use out of it to justify buying one right now. I might add it to my Christmas list tho

She will custom make them in 12x12 too if you request one, but the price for that is steep at $80. I'm mulling over whether I "need" a big one for scrapbook pages... Looks pretty cool. I'm thinking it would be handy for stamping text around the edge of a page, stamping numbers and days of the week onto calendar paper, stamping repeated things onto pages for December Daily pages, etc. Hmmm.

In the stamping section of the board is a thread regarding this. I was skeptical at first but now I'm thinking I'd like a 12 x 12 one

If you watch Mercy Tiara's youtube video that the OP linked to, she uses it on a 12x12 layout by putting the stamp on the outside of the acrylic and swinging it out to stamp on a layout(so she 's not restricted by the rulers on the inside). Not sure if I'm explaining it well, but I'm thinking that this size may be more versatile than I originally thought.

That would work for one-up projects like she is doing, but I'm thinking to do anything that would require stamping in the same place on different parts of the paper (such as around the edge of the page) or multiples (December Daily base pages or calendars) it might just be easier to have the big one that the paper fits inside. I know I want one but I'm trying to justify the extra expense for the bigger one. I have customers wanting calendar kits and card kits, so that aspect of it helps push me toward getting one.

Thanks everyone! I don't need one 12x12 so that's good I guess...lol Wanted to see how it is different than a letterpress type hinged thing - which was what I thought I might be able to repurpose... If anyone has a letterpress hinged thingy (and wants to correct my naming of it), do you think it could also work for stamping? I'm not sure if hinge positions would make a difference? I did like that the Misti has a magnetic feature... Anyways - thanks everyone Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

As I said I have the regular size one and love it for card making, I ordered it before I knew she would do larger sizes such as the 12x12 and 8.5x11. I am seriously considering getting a 12x12 that way both the larger sizes of paper would fit.
