I love vanilla bean ice cream (well almost anything vanilla) and was vanilla bean on the old board. When I got here, someone else had already registered with that name so I just added original to indicate it was me.

Gam. Gam. This is my grandmother name which was given to me by our 1st grandson. He couldn't say "Grammy", and I'm glad he couldn't. I like being GamGam.

Our household's current feline resident is named Sassy (that was the rescue's name for her, and she lives up to it). The others were our long-gone kitties Sabrina, SnoWhite, and Zachary -- still so dear to my heart!

Wanda Woman - As in Wonder Woman (My name is Wanda) - A nickname given to me by other teachers because I was able to solve problems such as scheduling. After I retired and started working with the senior citizens at church, one of them started calling me that. I don't know why that happened.

So, new board meant new name. Tiffany Twisted. Pretty self-explanatory pronunciation. While I like the Eagles, I mainly decided on the name because again, I thought it was something different. Most people don't realize that's what they're saying in that line, so I just went with it Do you have a Mercedes Benz and a lot of pretty boys that you call friends?

Mine is short for California Doodlebug. When I was in college one of my sorority sisters nicknamed me Doodlebug and it stuck. I used to doodle by writing silly poetry during chapter meetings.
ETA: A Pea once asked me if there was such a thing as a cadoodle bug.

Kee-wee Jo 'Kiwi' because New Zealanders colloquially refer to ourselves as Kiwis. No, NOT the furry brown oval things, bright green inside, little black seeds.... They are kiwifruit. A kiwi is a bird: - native to New Zealand
- can't fly
- is nocturnal
- about the size of a domestic hen
- is nearly blind
- has a loooong curved beak
- fossicks around on the forest floor for grubs and beetles
- has nostrils at the tip of its beak
I am not really sure why we New Zealanders refer to ourselves as nocturnal, nearly blind birds that fossick about on the forest floor, and cannot fly..........

Mine is Kellee, M is my last and middle initial. It's pronounced like Kelly/Kellie/Kelley. It's my first name. I was born in the early 60's when the name Kelly became pretty common for girls. My Dad had an uncle named Kelly. In their moment of creativity (I'm the 6th of 7 kids and the only one with an unusually spelled name) my parents named me Kellee. I have had my first name mispronounced many many times in my 52 years...just today when I won a raffle the gal said the winner was Kallee...nope, it was me!

Actually, the lyric is 'Mercedes Bends'. Another play on words by Henley, Frey & Felder. My husband used to work for Mercedes, and I did lease the station wagon for a while, lol. Sadly, no pretty boys around here. Never heard the term 'fossicks' before. Will have to work that one into a conversation this week.

I apologise in advance but Jock Strap is what always comes to mind:) And since she didn't explain her name, I'll jump in and say that Gar felt sorry for those big ugly gar fish we have around here. She's such a big fish lover, that for fun, she sneaks up on fishermen and cuts their lines just as they're about to land the big one.
