Mine is Kellee, M is my last and middle initial. It's pronounced like Kelly/Kellie/Kelley. It's my first name. I was born in the early 60's when the name Kelly became pretty common for girls. My Dad had an uncle named Kelly. In their moment of creativity (I'm the 6th of 7 kids and the only one with an unusually spelled name) my parents named me Kellee. I have had my first name mispronounced many many times in my 52 years...just today when I won a raffle the gal said the winner was Kallee...nope, it was me! Whatcha win? For a $5 investment I won a bag full of Halloween "stuff." A beaded (looks like a place mat to me) "charger", two cute dish towels, two more towels with stuffed tops (not sure how exactly those are meant to be used/displayed), some B&BW Pumpkin spice hand soap, and a package of paper pumpkin napkins! It's all cute and it was for a church fundraiser...I consider it my reward for getting up at 4:00 on my only day to sleep in!! Just kidding, we went to help with breakfast willingly and with smiles

When I was a teenager it was fashionable to wear sparkly nail polish. My Dad spotted this one day and said 'Oh, you've got tinselly toes!' That got shortened to Tinseltoes. My birthday is in December, and I'm wondering now if the nail polish was a birthday gift, and there was tinsel on the trees, and my Dad made the connection - but I could be totally talking crap!

Yo-key.
It's a nickname my husband & son call me. (That has nothing to do with my real name, but they're goofballs.)

Years ago, I was a camp counselor and that was my camp name which I had on a hoody. I had that hoody for years and eventually, it became my painting sweatshirt. My son saw it and has called me Bonzo since then.
SB=scrapbook + artist = not very original, but I do still enjoy scrapbooking, it is my therapy.

M T scrapper - MT because I used to live in Montana when I first started scrapbooking and got involved on the internet. Scrapper - self-explanatory
I decided to still use the MT even though I no longer live jn Montana because I am also a medical transcriptionist, so I decided it can stay and I have been using that name since the beginning of time.

Sorry was just about to come back and add that info but your explanation is much better so..... Out with it. Let's hear the real story. (My moniker is pronounced exactly as it looks and was the name of a 19th century American suffragette and writer who, among other things, championed less restrictive clothing for women.)

Mine is because I'm a Scorpio and I could be "clever" and add a Pea. However, it's kind of backfired on me in that I now have a problem spelling Scorpio
