Is anyone else out there sad that Robert Siegel is retiring?
There was something so calming about his voice, his tone, his intellect.
He hosted All Things Considered for 30 years, and I'm doing the math here and thinking I've listened to the show for at least that long! I will miss him.

I heard he was retiring on Thursday. I admit my commute is very short. I was shocked when I heard it, I will miss him!

Me! I was so sad when he announced his retirement. It just won't be the same without him.

I just happened to be listening to his last show and was saddened to hear he was retiring! I'll miss his calm and familiar voice.

So sad! And I didn't think the guys that they had trying to imitate his voice came anywhere close! He is my favorite!

I remember listening to him as a kid, and I always thought it would be nice if he read to me. His voice had a calming effect on this hyper girl.

Yes! I didn't even realize until the past couple of days people have been paying homage on Twitter, then I finally caught up on my NPR news. Lots of time on walks and runs listening to him. He'll be missed.

DH listens to him in the car, so I end up listening too, unless I've fallen alseep. Caught his last broadcast Friday. Didn't know he was leaving til then, too.

God, I was so afraid I was going to read he was really being let go for sexual harassment. LOL. I hope he has a happy retirement. I love his voice.
