I'm struggling to find the right writing/journaling font. One of my favorite fonts is DK Lemon Yellow Sun, but it's all caps and I need a mixed case font. I've been using Simple Joys (both of these are free at dafont.com), but I'm not overwhelmed with love. I don't want it to look childish. I want it simple and easy and more adult. Any ideas?

I've been looking for an all caps font so I will check out DK Lemon Yellow Sun. I use CK Jot a lot for a hand writing font. I don't know if it is still available though.

Surely on 2PeasRefugees one has to mention Fonts For Peas? There are some nice fonts there, going back years.

I do any computer journaling in MS Word. I like Bradley Hand and Adobe Garamond there.

For journaling I often use Remington Noiseless but I have a host of other favourite fonts. These include: Kadisoka Monoline Beautiful Day Bonjour Dallon Coolvetica Grand Hotel Hula Skirt Girl Imperioosa KB scripting KB simple brush KG bless your heart Lillypad Mari & David Steelfish Paper Cutout There are a number of sites that offer free fonts - I'd suggest signing up for Creative Market, The Hungry JPEG and Font Bundles.net

I suggest you go to dafont again and browse their handwritten fonts. Although many are a script style, there are also some that are more of a print style. On the first page, I saw one called Summer in December. (I plan to download it, whether or not you like it.) Anyway, here is a link to the handwritten fonts at dafont.com: Handwritten fonts

Fonts are just one of many of my weaknesses. I have spent that last couple of days going through my 800 or so to weed through them and delete the ones that I know I will never use. I had great success. I think I managed to clear out 200 or so... and then I opened this thread! Oh well... I guess I've made room for some new ones!
