You keep telling me that you want additional hours so I give you more hours because someone is on vacation and now you are complaining that you are tired...

Oh my gosh.....I think you are my coworker! I finally called someone out on it, and they just gave me the deer in the headlights look. My vent: I have way too many Alabama fans on my FB news feed!

I work with a blonde bimbo who just got promoted again, because she's perky, not because she's qualified.

Well, my DH and I were supposed to leave for our honeymoon cruise this coming Sunday.
Last night, I spent 5 hours in the ED with my 14 year old DD with chest pain, shortness of breath and elevated heart rate. Now because of my side of the family history, we have to see a cardiologist.
So between worrying about her and being disappointed that we had to postpone our plans, I've been crying since last night.
My bra broke and I got my period this morning.
Oh, and the people I share an office with: total and complete bitches. Almost told one to fuck off this morning.

I have a relative (by marriage!) that's a sociopath. For real, not me exaggerating. His ex wife admitted to me that he (and she knew) burnt down their house on purpose for insurance money (that they didn't get). There's so many stories I could legit write a book.
I have a friend, who is married to a man who is EXACTLY like relative. I mean, down to how they carry themselves, the way they speak ---- but mostly the things he does. I haven't figured out if she's a total pollyanna or if she "knows" what a douche he is. (they have small children). She told me today that their house is on fire. Ironically, they are having MAJOR problems with it. Mold, screwed up basement, etc. It's cost them so much money and time. They're currently in the middle of a lawsuit over it. I'm betting money that husband burnt it so they could blame it on the contractor they have the lawsuit with.
I'm scared for her, because relative is a wife beater.

I spent 1.5 hours at an appointment for CBT, only for the (trainee!) "Wellbeing advisor" to basically tell me CBT can't help and I need actual counselling. My local mental health service ONLY offers CBT, so...

I moved into a different department at work in December. They have put me right beside a guy that says the F word eleventy billion times a day, in every variation it can be used in. I am so sick of hearing his very loud obnoxious and filthy mouth. To top it off, he's also morbidly obese, as in at least 500-600 pounds and has trouble getting around. So I get to hear him complain constantly of pain in every area of his body. He announces it loud and clear for the whole department to hear. We are in cube land here, so there's no escaping it. Right this very minute he's complaining about not being able to find clothes that fit. From the way he talks, he has a very high opinion of himself.
I've tried head phones with music and audio books, but his voice still breaks through that. I don't want to complain since I'm new in this department and I'm the only female engineer.
Second vent: I've already over heard a rumor of people wondering if I was transferred because of sexual harassment. WTFreak! I did step in and let them know I over heard and that no, there was no personal issues, it just so happens I'm the only engineer with a high enough clearance to work the upcoming projects.

We moved into our new house a month ago today. While I love the house and generally I am really happy, yesterday sucked!
I realized that we have a mouse, I have 3 kids (6, 4, 22 months) and I'm pregnant. We have dealt with mice before and I hate them with a passion. I called and the pest people can come out on Thursday.
On Sunday night I was doing laundry and we already knew we had to get the dryer vent redone because it currently goes out through the roof rather than right out the exterior wall next to it. It was backing up and water gets in it when it rains. Well, Sunday night I had a load in and it starts smelling like burnt plastic. I unplugged and cleaned the vent out again, but figured I would just wait till they can do the new vent - Thursday or Friday depending on the weather.
DH was out of town with our oldest this weekend and when he got home super late Sunday night/Monday morning he asked why I had the heat on so low. I said I wasn't sure what was going on because I had actually turned it up.
Friday was the first real rain since we moved in and we discovered that one of the doors in the dining room leaks. It poured all day yesterday and last night, when I went down this morning the towel I had by it on the floor was soaked - how the old owners didn't know/notice when we had a very wet winter last year is beyond me. So that is now on the list of things to get fixed asap.
Back to the heat issue. So I reset the thermostat yesterday afternoon - thinking that was the problem. Got home it wasn't on and the house was down to 60. I'm working on dinner at the same time and realize that the water in the sink won't heat up and that the burners on the gas stove are barely functioning. Yup - we're out of propane - like down to 0. We are supposed to be on auto fill up. Called this morning, they are hoping to get someone out before 1 to refill, relight the piolet lights, and make sure everything is working.
Hoping the dryer issue was that we ran out of propane, but we'll find out!
And the end of last week I learned I have gestational diabetes and I am having a heck of a time regulating my blood sugar and it is driving me nuts!

Why is all the TP on the left side in every bathroom stall at work?? I had surgery on my left shoulder in December and am in a massive sling. I can't even see the TP, let alone reach it while seated!

I had the audacity to eat some oatmeal, and my stomach has been so freaking loud and uncomfortable ever since. Enough! Also I'm tired and sleepy even though I got 7 or 8 hours sleep. I think it's because my dreams were so outrageous. My anti-depressant makes my already crazy dream life much worse. Oh, and the 's' key on my laptop isn't working properly. I'm laughing at myself that these are the worst things I can come up with today.

Spending days close to camera in attempt to catch feral cat that does NOT want to be caught, despite the fact I saw him pee in the snow, and when I went out there you could blatantly see blood! Interference as well from idiot neighbor's "indoor/outdoor cats" that like to eat the food and occupy the shelter of the clearly homeless one.
