I have never taken an online class before and am interested in the me A-Z guided workshop at Big Picture Picture classes. My question is this- do you have to log into the class at specific times our is it more self guided and you can access it at your convenience? I work night shift and during my sleep/work days I would not be able to participate but could"catch up"on my time of, but don't want to pay for a class if I am unable to receive the benefit of all the instruction given. Has anyone taken a class like this and did you like it? Thanks for your help.

I've taken lots of BPC classes and they are all set up so that you don't have to be there at a particular time. You'll be fine with your plan of time-shifting.

There will usually be an email sent on a specific day each week introducing that week's lesson / pdf / video. There will often be a thread to go with the topic in the forums and the teachers will try to be active and answer any questions that come up. There may be scheduled chats with the teacher but most of the action happens at the students own pace. I'm in Australia so definitely work on a different time schedule to most of the other participants and I've never had a problem following along with classes.
I've taken this particular class in an earlier incarnation (not done as a pocket page style album) and loved it. You should get plenty of help and inspiration on the message boards, especially when you get to those letters that prove challenging, so I recommend checking them out even if you don't post to them.

I took the earlier version of this class, it is awesome! BPC classes are great. You can log in anytime and you get reminder emails when new class info is posted. Have fun!

I love BPC's classes! They will have videos so you can access them whenever and you can still access them in the future after the class is over too.
