Hi peas..using my Samsung tablet and it hates me..i have had this new tablet since last year and have not really used it...so I am sitting trying to figure out just typing on it ...i have a keyboard...it is charged but won't let me use it for some reason...i am so far behind tech things...i use a flip phone as well...taking me forever just to type this much...we are to get fiber optics ran out here in the country thanks to our congressman stivers...so I got the tablet so I could sit outside on the patio and tap away ...thinking this would be easier..boy am I wrong at this point...are you with me so far...hope so cause this old lady can't figure out how to do the capitol letters or put in the question marks either..please be kind..so I thought I would start just typing on the pea site to start learning and I am a very slow learner...i will from now on here put in my headline tablet time so you know it is me and you can just scroll by or come into my thread and laugh with me..why can I not learn something new in a timely manner...husband says it is because I use my left hand...for now I will go with that...bye for now...til I get on the lap top...

Hi Gail! It sounds like you have a bluetooth keyboard. All that means is this is how your keyboard wirelessly "attaches" itself to the tablet. It might sound crazy but it's pretty simple! Click here to see how |

Seems she may have an onscreen 'keyboard' .. I finally figured out how to make CAPS on my phone....... Not sure I can explain it though..

Good luck!! and I agree with elaynef!! call your grandchildren for a lesson!! They will love it!! My granddaughter helps me with my camera all the time!

I think she has a keyboard she can't figure out how to get to work so she is used her onscreen keyboard to type this post. Her keyboard is probably wireless and she can't get it to 'talk' to her tablet. I find typing on an actual screen a pain, a real keyboard is so much faster when you are typing long things. Good luck with figuring it out. And I'm jealous of your fibre optic, we have our fingers crossed we'll get that one day. |

LOL... you are all so kind...my son came and has me hooked up with the keyboard now...had to change a setting is all and it is wireless...I was typing on the tablet keyboard on here at first
and it took forever to get all that typed out...my one daughter will show me how later in how to do the updating...that ought to be a hoot...
you are right on the kids or grand kids they pick up on that so fast...me not so much...I am on the laptop now...thank you ladies...

I was using a stylist to type...lol...it will take me a bit to learn this but I want to learn...going on 70 this year and the calculater we used in school was the fingers and toes lol...
