I have the envelope maker and love it! The problem I have is that if I make a card(s) for someone else to use, what do you use for adhesive if they are meant to be mailed?
I mean, I know how I would address and seal and envelope on something I am sending, but if you make a card for someone else to use, do you put any type of adhesive on it, or tape, or anything at all?

There is a recipe out there somewhere for the lick it type but I didn't save it when I saw it. All I can remember is that it had gelatin in it. Maybe you could Google it.
A store in my town had some envelope glue for sale. I have to go there later today I will check and see if it is something you could use.

Well, I went to the store and checked out the glue it is by UHU. But it is not the lick it type. It is just glue. Sorry.

There is a product called Lick It Stick It Glue that is made by Green Sneakers. I'm not sure if any of the box stores sell it but you can get it online. Here's a link to it on Amazon:

The problem with the homemade stuff is that it has a pretty short shelf life once you mix it up because there are no preservatives in it. I tried making some once and it got moldy on me before I could really use much of it. Yuck. |
