UPDATE 2/11/18 - In case anyone is interested... I'm about halfway through the e-course lessons and I have to say this course has been well worth the money. The jeans lesson alone was incredibly enlightening. Essentially we take our measurements, determine our body type, and then learn about the clothes (cut, fabric, features, etc) that best flatter our body type and emphasize/accentuate our best features. We don't camouflage the parts we don't like, and instead learn how to bring focus to our best assets. We get lots of guidance from the team and Kelly herself, and we support each other as well. It's a great group of women. **************************************************************** I'm signed up for the one that starts Wednesday. I feel we could buy a book an get the same benefit. I have Color Me Beautiful and it's just as good today as it was when first published. Body shapes and the styles that are most appropriate for individual shapes don't change. And clothing damned sure IS art. Looking put together isn't difficult. I might admire the person who has figured out she can make a living by telling other women what to wear but I'm not going to give her my money.

I know Kelly! I wondered when I read the title if that wasn't her. She's local to me and used to do coupon courses back when you could score amazing deals on coupons. She runs a black Friday deals group on FB starting in October. She's lovely.
Her statement about fashion not being art is I believe, her way of saying it doesn't have to be intimidating. I think many people believe you have to try and understand art, or she commonly hears I don't get art. By saying it's not art is her way of trying to draw people in and reassure them that yes, you can pull together cute pieces that do go together using a process.

When I was 30 I had no problem loving my wardrobe. Now that I’m 56 it’s a different story. And it’s not my wardrobe that’s the problem, it’s my figure. I used to be very much into fashion, every fall I used to buy Vogue and check out all the trends and add things to my closet. I learned that quality is better than quantity I still manage to look put together it’s just that dresses don’t fit the way they used to and mostly I stay away from them and choose 2 pieces. I hope you learn a lot from this class.

After watching her two clips, I don’t think she meant there is no art to fashion, but that there are other more concrete measurable things we can do to make the best choices for our body types.
And, now after watching her four points video I’m looking for something else to add to my outfit. Army green leggings, cream sweater, tan riding boots and long beaded necklace...I don’t have four points. :-).

I tried watching her free video several times but it kept pausing. So there is no way I’d pay almost $200 for that! I just finished her Frustration to Functional course plus I've watched the Rule of Four several times and never had an issue with her videos. |

I already love my wardrobe! My work outfit is cookie pants and a Hamilton t-shirt every day. Hamilton goes with everything. No problems! When I have to leave the house I have five or six different decent outfits that fit well and that I like.

I just watched her promo video in the link. The amount of clothes on the racks behind her gave me anxiety. Honestly, who needs that many clothes? I think she needs to konmari those racks!

It sounds interesting. I hope you learn a lot and are able to find items that fit you better.
Right now I spend a lot of time in pajamas since I only leave the house for chemo and trips to the oncologist. Because of all the weight I have lost my wardrobe is severely limited.

I don't know. I think I would personally feel overdone with four points of interest. I'm more of an understated, maybe two points of interest kind of girl. For example, I would never mix the top and skirt/pants she's wearing in the rule of 4 video (you can barely see the skirt or pants but they have a completely different pattern than her top).
I feel OK about my wardrobe. I've found a couple of brands of jeans that fit me well. I'm good.

The videos may not work for some people if they have slower internet. Before we increased our speed, we couldn't stream things well. It may not have anything to do with the videos themselves--especially if others don't have problems with them.
