So I just saw my email that Teresa Collins will be at the Ontario Scrapbook Expo. She will do a couple of classes.
I have never taken a "celebrity" class and am thinking of taking one of them.
Has anyone ever taken one of her classes? is it worth the price? (It's significantly higher than most of the workshops at $73)
thanks for the advice.

I've had bad luck with Expo classes. Not learned anything, some of the teachers were unprepared, that kind of thing. Just didn't go well, and I think at that price I'd be SUUUPER pissed. BUT I will be going to the Expo when it arrives, just for the fun and shopping.

The class sounds cool, but way out of my price range. I do like the gold foil though, and might buy a couple of items.

I've been thinking about taking one of her Saturday classes, not sure which one yet...but they are sooooo expensive. I think there is also an option for a "meet and greet" which is about $7. I will probably end up taking a class instead of any shopping, it may even end up saving me money!

Teresa Collins is an excellent instructor! I just attended two of her workshops at the Puerto Rico Scrapbook Event in June, plus having attended others many years ago. Her instructions are clear, class is very organized and the kits were loaded with everything needed; the projects were nice --reminds me, need to go thru my moving box full of those goodies . $73 is quite pricey though, yikes. There must be a lot of product involved, I'm guessing. At PRSE, we just paid the cost of the 3-day event, so there were no costs for individual workshops, unless you wanted more than what was included.

I think the class is a little too pricey for my budget, but it does include admission to expo and the class.

Check her site....one location was cancelled that was soon. I don't know if this was the location or not. I really want to take on of her classes. I have a Halloween kit I purchased off her blog and it was adorable, worth the money. Great instructions!

I soooo want to go to this. I am in LV and this being the weekend between me and my hubby's birthday's, it's doubtful I can attend =(

I think she's overpriced. Used to be you'd get a ton of product, although the instructions reminded us of a search and rescue event because something was usually missing). Last classes I took from her, it was all pre-cut (we used to get a lot more product so we could change it up) and you had no choice but to do it her way. I went to her LV event for 7 years - 5 were good, the last 2 I went because friends went, this last one I finally said no more. Sadly, I'm not a fan anymore at all.
