I am wondering here...I found a really nice grey purse that I would like for fall and winter, but I don't know if it's real or not. I don't buy imitation ones but if it's real, it's a good deal. Any thoughts?

Ask the seller.
If he says it's real (or if he is advertising that it is real in his listing) and it turns out to be fake you will get your money including shipping back per ebays buyer protection.

And no one can tell you whether all listings for MK purses on ebay are real or not.
The answer to that question is going to be on a case by case basis.

I once won an auction for lkate spade purses and paid by pay pal. The next day I had a message that the sale was cancelled and a refund had been paid.... Initiated by ebay. Purses were fake.

I got a MK on eBay and it was real. I'm pretty good at spotting fakes so if it is a knock off, sure has me fooled.
Check sellers other listing and feedback. My seller listed my bag as a store display and said there were some scuffs, however it looked pristine to me. You can usually tell by details, like do buckles have MK logo and does inside have logo as well. Does she show a actual photo of bag or is it a stock photo?
I've bought quite a few bags on eBay mostly Coach, I've been lucky, all were the real deal.
A huge give away is other stuff she is selling. If it all looks legit, chances are the bag is too. Good luck!!

Companies have people looking on EBay for fakes, and will get EBay to close auctions if they believe the item isn't legit. However you can't count on this being the case. Some fakes are obvious, some are really well done. The advice above is all good. I'd add looking online for tips on real versus fake Michael Kors bags; you should be able to find specifics. And as others have said, you do have buyer protection so if it IS fake you can get your money back. Good luck!

My thoughts are that if the price looks too good to be true then it's a fake. There are genuine people on there with bags to sell, I've done it myself. But there are a lot of people on there who buy fake handbags (purses) in bulk from Asia to resell on ebay. There was a TV programme about it not long ago in the UK. I've spotted many fakes for sale just be looking at the photos.

There isn't a stock answer for that question since they're for sale by thousands of different companies/people.

Look at the sellers feedback and what/how much they sell. I would think that someone that has more than a couple of designer bags for sell would be suspect. I know that isn't the rule, but it would make me pause before I handed them any money.

It's hit or miss. Look at the feed back. I bought a Coach before, and it was real, had the right identification and everything, but there are so many fakes out there. Particularly, if the seller is foreign (usually China or Hong Kong).
