I looked at the instructions about the Gallery and pressed the link to join Flicker. Is it supposed to send me to a Yahoo page?

I have to sign in to yahoo in order to use flickr on my pc. I've never tried with my phone so I don't know if that's any different.

I think I signed up through Yahoo. I set up a Yahoo email account just to enroll there, but was able to let them know my default email was the one I use all the time. Maybe some of the people who have signed up to Flickr more recently can help you out? jeremysgirl? christinec68? JaneB? |

Yes, apparently Yahoo took over flickr. I am able to log in using my gmail email address and had to pick a password.

I did it a long time ago, and set up a yahoo address, which I had totally forgotten about.
The set up instructions are pretty straightforward. Once it's done, the rest is easy. I wish I had been using it all along, because getting a photo attachment (the other way I was doing it) below 1Mb is a pain!

I only signed up to the Gallery last year, and it was easy enough. I didn't need a Yahoo email address, I signed up with my usual Gmail address and a password, and chose a username. I followed the guidelines in Admin's Gallery post here. If you choose to join Flickr from the 2Peas Group page remember to include your Pea name so she knows it's you. Also, send a PM via the boards here to request to join the Gallery. There are a few rules to follow for posting images e.g. project type, what challenge if any. Additionally adding your Pea name (if different from here) and materials used can be added. You can find that information in the Overview section of the Flickr Group. |
