I just don't ever think to stamp on my scrapbook pages. Not sure why, but probably 99% of my stamping is done for cards.

I will watch your tutorial when I have speakers Ü Bonnie, it is not a video. Just a step-by-step that doesn't require speakers. LOL

I'm a long time stamper and I still get scared:) That's why I use my stamps to make little embellishments like file tabs or labels. That way I can use them without worrying about jacking up my layout.

What's deli paper? I wouldn't say I'm scared, just lazy. I have a few stamps, but usually don't want to bother with the clean up.

If I do happen to stamp (which is rarely), I stamp on a separate piece of paper like you do, because I put too much work into my page to have it messed up by me stamping crooked, not clearly, smudgy, or whatever you want to call it!

I usually will stamp on a tag or separate journaling block so if I screw something up I can always start over! It never fails, the person (me!) who is obsessed with not making spelling errors ALWAYS seems to make one when I have to stamp a word with those dumb little individual peg letter stamps...

Search amazon for Kabnet Wax, and you will see what deli paper is. Some shops wrap sandwiches in the deli paper. And I for one always stamp on my scrapbook pages and I don't use the deli paper. I only use this for my Bible so there is no bleed through. I LOVE scrappy messy with paints, splatters, modeling paste, etc., so messy stamping is in there too. LOL! I also use deli paper for lots of other art journaling things. I have been using it for a while but I hope this helps those of you that are scared to stamp on your work.

TFS! Your blog describes it very well, and I subscribed to the feed. Will have to search thru my stash to see if there's any gesso, and give it a try. I have a box of deli paper, and while never having tried using it for crafty purposes, it's great in the oven instead of waxed paper. Besides the sandwich wrap thing of course.
