One opened near me and decided to visit for the first time. Wanted to get two long-lasting lipsticks, one for night and day.
I always bought Maybelline long lasting lipstick but was not super crazy about the colors anymore and wanted a higher end with more color options.
I had a salesperson help me. I found some I loved (Mac matte liquid lip color)... seemed to stay on great $21 a piece. The sales lady kept steering me to lancomb $32, assuring me it was just as long-lasting. She said she had the same lipstick on all day. She talked me into a matching liner. I thought ok, she knows best even though it did not seem as long lasting as the Mac brand I was leaning towards.
So I got one Mac for night and the Lancomb for day. Ugh, the Lancomb does not stay on at.all! I wait an hour to drink eat etc and it comes right off. Lucky if it last 2 hours. I just want to return and get the Mac brand.
It has been two weeks, can I return/exchange?

If anyone has a good brand/color they could suggest... stays on all day, natural color would love it

yes! They have a great return policy. Just take it in (if you have packing, great, if not thats ok too). They will look your purchase up on their computer and then take it back.

Yep. You can return it.
You can return anything as long as there's product left.
That's why I only buy makeup at ulta. Great rewards, great coupons, great return policy.

If anyone has a good brand/color they could suggest... stays on all day, natural color would love it I have never had luck with Lancôme either. I have a NARS liquid lipstick Powermatte Lip Pigment (it's a perfect rectangle in black) and it's not bad but I love the colour of it. I also have luck with Sephora brand lasting quite well. I am returning this Too Faced one I have as it gets all over your face when you eat and makes a huge mess. It's called Melted Matte Liquified Long Wear Matte Lipstick. I also tried out Bare Minerals Matte Liquid Lipcolor and I hated that, too. It just wasn't permanent enough. I have a favourite, I will always love it and it is discontinued by Estée Lauder and there isn't anything else out there as good as it. |

Yes, the Lancomb smeared all over my face and cup. It was so annoying and still cannot believe she said it will stay on all day  I will try NARS power matte next time. They did return and I do plan on shopping there from now on. I got two more lipsticks for the same price as the Lancome and it is still on. |
