Your word this Saturday is LOVE!
Valentine's Day is just around the corner so make valentine's cards or scrapbook about someone you love or something you love or someplace you love. Use reds and pinks or hearts or cupids. You could even use that paper or embellishment or tool that you LOVE.
Can't wait to see all the creative takes on this!
I apologise for no example - I'm a GS leader and cookie mum and cookie booths started today...life is all about cookies right now.

For this one, I'm going to do a Mother's Day page. I started, but I'll have to wait until tonight to finish it up. Nice word, linda.

Man, I'm struggling today! I keep moving my photo from one paper to another, to another. I'm not getting anywhere! Typical eh, see the prompt and think cool, then get stuck! I'm determined to do it.... it just might be tomorrow at this rate!

I have mine done and the pieces glued down, but it needs a bit of drying time before I can photograph it. I was inspired by THIS Simple Stories Blog post, and when Linda's challenge came up last night, I started by cutting the big heart, using it as a stencil and spritzing onto patterned paper. It was ready to play with this morning, but some of my finishing touches--like Nuvo glitter drops--don't show their true colour until dry, so I need to wait for my reveal..

Okay, here is my page. It is the February page for NEXT year's family calendar. In my head it looked better. I wanted the misty snow (from the mists) to form the heart. But then I decided to give it a bit of definition with the red mist. And of course it turned everything pink. Duhhh... Of course I didn't have another sheet of the paper I wanted to use, to I used the one I had pinkified. I didn't stitch around the big heart: decided to sketch faux stitches with my pen. More old stuff I never thought I'd use. I also dug out my lace and ribbon stash. The guy standing in the pic is my SIL with his band. He was quite a character in his younger days. Now he is a banker with 4 little boys, a wife who homeschools and and a pickup truck.

How cool is THAT!?! Great you could create a page reliving the "good ol' days".
And I wish I could give you extra points for pulling out the lace and ribbon AND using it on a Rock N Roll page! But for that kinda stuff, you need to enroll in Calvinball!

This challenge fell right into my lap - I already had the cut files done ;-)
This layout started with a Miss Kates Cuttables file and then I put my own spin on it. Added some images from google and the high school name.

And another 4 points! You are on a roll. Love the bright colours and the cool title block and border strip. Perfect for these cheer leading gals!

Cool! Did you see around that big heart with a sewing machine? I did. I'm not sure I like it. I wish I would have done it in black instead. I think your faux stitches show up better.

I made a heart card for my soon-to-be here new grandson! His due date is two days after Valentine's Day! I used the January Hero Arts kit to make it, just about the only thing I've done with it lol.

I did a layout about my Son and his wife. I adore this photo of them. I also did my first digital layout in over a year I think. It was fun to do.

I did. I'm not sure I like it. I wish I would have done it in black instead. You could always run another line of stitching around it in black, although I like the subtle texture of the white. I love how you've placed the ribbon around your photo too.

@elaynef I was talking last night with my sister about how much people change from their rock and roll days to their married with kids and a real job days. You'd never guess his future from this photo! I love all the soft delicate details on your layout against the pops of brighter pink. gramma I love the embellishment strip down the right hand side and the pops of yellow work so well on this spread. MDscrapaholic it's a beautiful card, so simple and yet so detailed. Congratulations on your soon to be here dgs!

Wow- so much beauty, creativity, and LOVE on this thread. I wish I could comment on each but I'm exhausted, sorry. I'll try and comment tomorrow but in the meantime - think of my 'like' as 'love'

This is a very simple page. I was determined to get all of our children's families scrapped sometime this month. So today I chose our oldest DD and family. Family is so important to me and LOVE really describes the relationship we have with each of our children and grands. Well Hello There Family Photos 2017 by Nylene Budge, on Flickr Now I am just one day behind. ETA: Thanks for the challenge Linda. BTW, our 8 boxes of GS cookies arrived today! Our DGD, Sammie is a Girl Scout and our DD is her leader.

stinkerbelle I love, love that background colour with the papers you've chosen, and the title is perfect with the expression on your little one's face.

grammadee your page rocks! Love your misted heart and the lettering for your title and that awesome background! You did a great job with your scraplift, but I like yours better @elaynef I love how you added all the “girlie” bits but this page doesn’t seem feminine to me because it just fits the vintage feel of the photo. Lovely page!! scrapincin I love your sweet card! gramma I love it when everything comes together like it was meant to be. Your page is so fun and the photos really shine! jeremysgirl aww sweet I think your stitching looks great! Subtle but adds just enough interest and texture MDscrapaholic what a pretty card! I love the nontraditional color for valentine’s day! So glad you found a use for your kit DawnMcD oh my goodness, so much I love about this page! I’ll be short and sweet and just say EVERYTHING! nylene love your page! I really like the wide white border and cute lil flower sequins you used!
