They got about 0.3 inches overnight. I realize more is needed, but hopefully this will take the edge off of the water shortage they have been experiencing.
Keep on dancing!

That's wonderful news! I'm dancing for you and for CA as we've had a pretty dry season and we'll be in big trouble if this is the start of another drought.

No kidding on us also desperately needing rain. One season of rain is just not enough after all we've been thru with this state wide drought. Therefore, as I've rain danced for Cape Town, I've been throwing in an extra jig or two for us.

That is awesome! We are praying for rain in my area. We've been over 120+ days without any moisture and our crops + farmers need it desperately.

Please keep dancing and singing people. We need so much more.
My back is about killing me with having to lift and cart around 25 litre buckets of water from the shower to flush the toilets.
We can only use 50 litres per person per day. If you need to wash your hair that's the lot gone to rinse the shampoo off.
So yes, please keep doing what you're doing.

Sorry that you are all having to go through this.......It's hard! My back is about killing me with having to lift and cart around 25 litre buckets of water from the shower to flush the toilets. We can only use 50 litres per person per day. If you need to wash your hair that's the lot gone to rinse the shampoo off. Remember the old saying yellow is mellow brown goes down.... Wash your hair, rinse, then flush. Not the same, but with gas shortages years ago we learned to map out errand runs to get them all done in like a circle, no back tracking. Save the water from washing dishes, clothes and/or vegetables for flushing. I have a whole long list somewhere. Use only a small cup of water to brush teeth.
