It was actually still in the package. Now that I've used it I'm guessing the staple bars are no longer available. I didn't see much on Amazon, or the two online scrapbooking stores I frequent. Maybe Hobby Lobby still sells them. I like using my regular stapler, so maybe that's why I like it. I know there is a 'hate' for it here.

How funny, I was just thinking about pulling mine out of "cold storage" to use on a page. I'll have to do that so I don't forget about it again. Did you actually use it on a layout?

I used it on a card. I stapled a layer of papers together before I attached them to the card so the staple wouldn't show on the inside of the card.

I love mine too, I don't use it a lot but sometimes it is just the right embellishment. I picked quite a few staples on clearance and they will last me forever LOL.

I hated the stapler, but loved the look of the staples, I actually ended up just pushing them through and bending the prongs with a spoon.

I don't use the stapler either;actually, I never even owned the stapler ....I place my paper on top of thick fun foam, press the staple though, and use an eraser end of a pencil to press the prongs down. I will be really sad when I have used them all up, But fortunately for me that shouldn't be anytime soon. lol

Like some of the others I loved the staples but didn't have the stapler. I finally bought one and I just couldn't get it to put the staples where I wanted them. Neither of them made it through the Big Purge of 2012.

The Fastenator and the iTop Bradmaker...two of the most underutilized tools in my craft room. Come to think of it, I don't know why they haven't made it into a Goodwill or Sell pile yet :/
The Fastenator I could probably toss and not feel any remorse about it. The Bradmaker though...I want so badly to love it and use it. I still hold out hope for it, lol.

I love the fastenator and I looked all over to find the mini one so that it was easier to take with me. I have found the staples at close out stores (Biglots, TJ Maxx)
