Hi PeaFriends!
I need help with my hair! I am involved with a performing group and our performances are March 1 and 3, and March 8 and 10. On March 1 and 8 (Thursdays), I will not have a lot of time to do my hair. I will have to leave for the venue straight from work to avoid the worst traffic.
If you look at my profile picture, you can see that my hair is very straight. It's fine but I have a lot of it and it's kind of heavy. It doesn't hold curl very well so I'm thinking I'll go with a straight style for the Thursday performances. I do plan to get my hair trimmed this week so it will be even and no dead ends.
What can I do in the morning to give my hair lift at the roots? And what should I do when I am getting ready for the performance to revive it?
Thanks for any pointers you can give me!
Merilee

what is your morning routine like? I would blow dry upside down or with a round brush using a root lifter (root pump plus by bug sexy hair or kenra are my regulars) and I would use a volumizing powder at the roots.

A volumizing dry shampoo can change your entire look at the end of the day!

Just before you go on, use dry shampoo and really work it into your roots.
I find sleeping with mine tied up on top of my head gives me root lift in the morning. That combined with a little back combing at the crown is good for lift.

Paul Mitchell has a new hairspray called Sugar Tease, it will give you lots of volume!
