I should have come back and posted my thoughts right after watching because now it's a little foggy. I do remember some elements being different from what I anticipated mostly the circumstances surrounding the actual stop. What did everyone else think? |

I don't have HBO. Is there someplace where I can watch this online for free? I've tried Googling it and checking on YouTube, but haven't been able to figure out how I can watch it without having to pay.

Pretty obvious the officer is lying and/or exaggerating. It looked like she turned, he went around someone and then came up behind her. How could he have checked her speed? There was no reason for the officer to touch her. The comment about hurrying up set him off, which is no excuse to pull her out of the car. I hope she finds some justice and it is disturbing that this officer is still on the streets.
While I am, according to my middle aged, white, gay male friend, a "privileged middle class white women", I would have stayed in my car and handed the officer my license. If I had gotten out, not realizing I was being pulled over, I would have listened to the officer 100% and certainly would not have told the officer to "hurry". I have a fear of cops because I was brought up to respect and listen to them - they have all the control.
