Not sure how I feel about that. I was hoping they would quit using the 2Peas name altogether because I thought that might help the Garden Girls regain the rights to their content.

What's really interesting is that they opened their Etsy shop on June 10, about 2 weeks before they closed 2Peas. Wow, that makes them really, really rude.

I wondered if they were going to do something like that because none of their Two Peas merchandise was clearanced out for their going out of business sale. Shady. I don't blame them for continuing the brand or opening an etsy store, but I do think it's crappy of them not to warn us earlier, and also not to say "hey, the good news is we'll still be around!"

Interesting. I like some of the wood veneers and like that the shipping is pretty reasonable but I am just not sure I trust them and I am still more than a little annoyed how they handled things.

I saw the etsy shop yesterday & wondered if they were going to keep producing their exclusive merchandise & sell it there. Just wonder how shutting down 2Peas affects new business endeavors?

I think its interesting that only Jeffrey is listed as owner...I agree though with previous posters, why not include that in the announcement and let us know that they had to scale back from the big site but would be still around to provide us with fabulous flair and wood veneers?

Add me to the list of people who are confused about why they didn't announce this as part of their closing down. If it were me I would want a built in customer base to follow me to my new online home. The shipping is surprisingly about what I pay from other etsy sellers but I'm still hesitant about buying from them.

I thought this might be an avenue for them (actually thought they'd try to sell under American Crafts -ha_). I think we all agree that they didn't handle the situation well at all, but we all saw the writing on the wall months ago. I'm sure it is hard to see your dream go, but as a business person, things should have been handled better.

How odd. They should have just been honest about what was going on. I'm not a business owner but I am sure there would have been a lot more understanding people had they shed some light on the situation rather than leave everyone speculatulating, and creating page long threads. Customers would have been happier and in turn they probably would have gotten or kept more business.

I agree with all the pp who've said that it is strange that they did not make it part of the closing announcement.
I won't be buying anything from their etsy because I do not trust them as a whole. Their entire business has been so mismanaged.

I agree. I'm disappointed in how TwoPeas went about this - as if they were sneaking around with it.

It all sounds like the un-professionals are having trouble in paradise. They lost my (and several others) customer loyalty with their web site renovations and their attitude toward customers experiencing viewing difficulties. IMHO, we visually impaired are people AND scrappers, too.
So thanks to the powers that be for this fresh and inspiring site!

I thought it was odd that I had flair and wood veneer in my cart, and it didn't reflect any type of discount. I thought the entire stock should have been discounted. This explains why.
