For gardening peas: I have some really tall lilies – we're talking 6 feet or so – that I'm going to be moving out of my perennial bed. They're beautiful, but have gotten out of control and overwhelm where they're located.
I want to move them into their own separate bed, and would like to plant them with something else. Any suggestions as to what makes a good companion plant for something this tall? I'm in the northeast in terms of zones/tardiness.
