Shwooo it’s finally over. Okay I almost shed a tear when Rick and Michonne were on the porch and you heard the silencer. Was interesting to find out that those future visions were Carl’s all along. But WTF is up with Neegan in the garden !?!?

I must be a bigger asshole than PolarGreen12 because I love Neegan lol! I think when I see him I don't see a bad guy I see Sam and Dean dad on Supernatural and Izzy's dying boyfriend on Grey's 😊

Jeezzz Louise could they have drug Carl's death out any longer? This was a better episode overall. Is the little blonde kid the replacement for Carl? I never cared for Carl so I don't care that he is gone. I hope they wiqnd up this Negan story line shortly.

I actually really liked this episode, and I haven't really liked an episode in a long time.
That opening montage made me cry my eyes out actually.
I really liked that Carl's death is setting things for a different course - I think it will bring hope back to the show. In the past, when a major character died, we saw lots of raw grief and anger. I think (hope!) things will be different this time since Carl clearly laid out his wishes and hopes for the future.
Chandler Riggs really did a great job with this episode.

That opening song really ruined the mood for me. I hated it. I get it, the lyrics fit, but that didn't mean it was the right song for Carl. I turned it way down. They did drag out his death quite a bit and I didn't cry about it. I didn't dislike Carl but just didn't feel too sad about it. I'm a monster . Did anyone else catch Nicotero's comment on TD about Daryl? Chris or he said that Daryl doesn't ever say much on the show and then Nicotero said that hopefully that will be changing. Was that a dig at Scott Gimple? I don't know the who's who enough but it did kinda sound like a dig at *somebody* who maybe wasn't giving Daryl many lines in the past.

Yes I did catch that about Darryl and thought it was really odd and I hope it was a dig at SG I put the blame on him for where this show has gone these past few seasons. Darryl's character has been minimized so much as was Carol's for quite a while. I often wonder how Kirkman feels about where his creation is going. I know Darryl wasn't in the comic but just how the show is generally.

Did anybody notice the very last scene with Rick sitting under the tree? At first, I thought he had been asleep and maybe dreamed the whole thing about Carl dying so I googled but instead of finding anything about that, I found an article with screen caps that show him appearing to be injured, which I hadn’t even noticed. He has a very bloody right side (in a similar spot as Carl’s bite) and his right hand is completely bloody. The article said that some people thought that maybe it was Carl’s blood, but the major consensus was that it was Rick sometime in the future with some unknown injury, which would make sense since the episode had plenty of those flash forward/dream type scenes already. www.google.com/amp/s/heavy.com/entertainment/2018/02/the-walking-dead-ending-explained-what-happened-rick-under-tree-photos/amp/

I think it's in the future but I don't think it's his blood. I think something major happened and he has *whoever's* blood on him. From all of the previews there will be a lot of fighting and there's no telling who they're going to kill off next! And has anyone on this thread mentioned Morgan pulling out the guys guts while they were fighting?!? Like Chris Harrison Hardwick said "like a clown scarf". That was so gross and may have been necessary to win the fight but OMG Morgan has gone round the bend!

Is anyone but me sick and tired of sweaty, dripping wet hair hanging in Rick and Daryl's eyes? If I were that sweaty I'd be brushing it out of my eyes so that I could see. That alone is driving me nuts. Enough with the sweat! It was so nice in the future sequences when Rick was clean and dry.
“Like a clown scarf” Bwahahahaha 😂😂. I didn't catch that as I fell asleep during Talking Dead.

Ok can Carl just die already? They are stretching this out too long. If they carry this through next week, I'm going to be annoyed enough to bite someone. Omg Carl, shut up and die lol I was bored again with this episode lol. I'm glad they finally killed him off because I wasn't a fan of him since day 1. I must be a real asshole. I’ve only got 10 minutes left and haven’t shed a single tear. Oh good grief...enough with Carl...let him die already. We just keep fast forwarding...and it is still dragging on. So bored with it all of this - they sure strung it out i was literally wishing him dead gina

Thought last night's episode was well done. We are still loving the show - especially like the current stories better than the Governor!
I LOVE NEGAN! I mean, I love the actor, but the actor combined with the writing for the character - he is such a sexy MFer! He can be on the show forever!
As soon as Siddiq said he was a doctor I thought of him helping to deliver Maggie's baby!
So one thing my dd and I discussed last night - and I haven't seen it mentioned here - Father Gabriel got sick after covering himself in walker guts. Doesn't seem like Negan got sick, but he did tell him that his group does get sick when they do that. Rick's group has used that method many times and no one has gotten sick from it. Any ideas on what is happening?

I thought it looked like a knife or something sticking out as well. In the flash forward sequences, he always has a limp and a cane so I wonder if this has something to do with that? Whatever it is, I hope he’ll be ok!

And, Kirkman has said that's one of the reasons they don't do it more, risk of getting ill. Otherwise you could do it all the time.

I guess I assumed she was going to be the leader of the hilltop, but Jesus or Daryl could fill that spot, especially since Daryl isn't in the comics and can take anybody's storyline
